Spend many games worrying about Chelsea making mistakes. We’ve just about thrown every mistake we could out there today. 

James and Cucurella suspended for Brighton. 

Naive performance, and utter lack of professionalism and discipline. 

There goes all of that good feeling we had from the Spuds and City games. This lot can't seem to take a few steps forward without following it up with multiple steps back.

Let's not forget we conceded 4 against City last game and conceded multiple chances to 9 man Spuds. Defence is a shambles. And it's been even worse today.

Impossible to win this game with the amount of free kicks we’ve given away today, lack of discipline and loads of basic mistakes.

Poor from us today.

James, Gallagher and Palmer... been out on the beer for England - dreadful - better we don't have international breaks during the season.

We are in big trouble 

Everyone on that pitch needs to take a hard look at themselves after that performance. It was disgraceful on all areas of the pitch and the travelling fans deserve an apology. No positives to take out of this game.

It's also a result of being utterly powerless against Newcastle players, they can't take the control of the match and kept compensating in the worst possible way.

James didn't even go! So him performing so badly today is even more inexcusable.

Doesn't help when you have a liability like Cucurella in defence. He is an absolute guarantee of atleast 1 costly mistake per game.

Honestly this is an horrific showing. 

At what point do you question the manager a bit. 

We are not a good team. 

We have made some terrible signings. 

Looking at what Everton are going through, I am extremely worried about the long term health of the club, as we dont look like getting champions league football again next season. 

We have beaten a 9 man Tottenham in our last 5 games. 

Holy sh*t another one.

A deserved scoreline for us, nothing else to add.
 

 

It's like the players bought into their own hype today and just failed to turn up. It's a humbling for the likes of Palmer who has been getting nothing but praise since joining.

It’s too easy. Not only worst performance of the season, but from a mentality standpoint one of the worse I have seen for some time

as a chelsea fan apparently you do not deserve enjoyment for a couple of games in a row

Lazy defending from Badiashile. 

We were linked with Gordon. They signed him. We signed Mudryk. Gordon is scoring, Mudryk is a bench player for us.

All those people on here who said Antony Gordon would have been a terrible signing from Everton! Mugs. He is a fantastic player.

I blame the players, it’s like they thought they had arrived at the top table because we drew with City.
