Is it me or are we playing much better since Cuca and Sanchez got injured?

I don't know about that.

Not to dampen on the parade because I'm chuffed with the result and performance tonight but I think our performances of late have been pretty weak despite the good results.

Clinical performance, well played boys.

Shout out to Chilwell on a really excellent comeback game - let's hope he's fit for a while and continues at left back.

I thought Chilly set the tone from the beginning today. Excellent performance

Need Fulham to pull it off. Poch has Silva’s number. Undefeated against him.

f**king hope so, I'm so chuffed we're in a final but I don't want to lose to them twats again...

Very pleasing performance, and nice to reach a cup final.

This will be our 10th League Cup final appearance, which puts us equal second with Manchester United. Only Liverpool have made more appearances (13, or possibly 14 soon to come).

Hoping we can somehow play Fulham, but I expect it to be Liverpool.

Love stats like that. Means it has to change sometime, why not Wembley.

I’d still rather face Fulham.

I don't think we have actually changed much from how we started, we've just been clinical and taken advantage of Middlesbrough's mistakes. I still want us to shake off this slow football, but there hasn't been any sign all season that it's going anywhere.

We still played crap today despite the scoreline.(i know people will disagree). Too many stray and sloppy passes. Just few less than Boro today. Most of our goals came from Boro sloppiness giving the ball away cheaply.  I'm not flattered by that scoreline at all. I want us to see play well, control the game, have energy and creativity, dominate the opponent. I don't see any of this at the moment... Anyway, Let's enjoy the moment. We are in the Cup Final and that's what counts.

Oscar and Willian were mainstays at the time. Even Schurrle was great. KDB was going to be rotation at best.

The club selling him vs simply loaning him until he was ready was the issue.

Schurrle wasn't great, he had a few moments, but he wasn't anything special, I would fancy a young De Bruyne to displace him easily. Willian was a winger, Oscar was turned into a workhorse that could go one game where he could pull out the sublime and then the next game he could barely play a pass. In De Bruyne's 2nd season at Wolfsburg, we only had one attacker in the whole team that was better than him, Hazard. Everybody was certain of how good De Bruyne was going to be. It shouldn't have mattered who was ahead of him at the time, players like that should never be let go. It was short term thinking. It would be a bit like Barcelona letting Messi go because they had Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Henry.

I don't think we were crap, we did the simple things well, and we did win 6-1 😆

You don’t seem to be enjoying the moment though!

I will take weak wins over strong losses.

I really don't want Liverpool in another final. We consistently look like the better team against them, but we seem to have a mental block when it comes to getting the result.
