January 31, 20242 yr Positives - Nkunku got a goal and looked good. Carney and Gusto got minutes and looked ok we didn't see Broja so there's a chance we finally get rid of him tomorrow Negatives - Everything else. Outclassed from start to finish.

I honestly couldn’t see any tactics being used, from the first whistle we got battered We can quite rightly look to the referee as to why we didn’t get two penalties Petrovic ,Gusto and Nkunku are the only players who escape criticism, the rest ranged from poor to abysmal Men against Boys tonight …time has probably come to call time on a few Chelsea careers We can’t even start with intensity against the worst United team ever.
January 31, 20242 yr So with the 2 penalties and that foul on Chilwell disallowing the Bradley goal I make that 3-3. Onwards and upwards lads.
January 31, 20242 yr We can cry about penalties but we were very sh*te.. these guys aren’t defenders.. first goal will never happen for us.. how could they let the player pass between the two.. second one was a great finish.. third one.. was also strange and so simple.. no one blocking runners.. then badie goes to sleep.. Our attackers couldn’t get near them.. can’t remember us winning to many balls or pressing as a team..

I think the money is an additinal piece of comedy gold for the media. @Whats_The_Mata? does have a valid point regarding a number of players. Some of these blokes would be poor value if we'd spent 1 million on them all, not 1 billion. In a league as competitive and fast moving potential counts for very little. its about what you can deliver. Regardless of his age and his apparent potential, Mudryk is crap, simple as. In 2 years he won't suddenly be brilliant, he'll more likely be on loan somewhere if we can't get him out the door, or he'll be sat in the stands getting his wage and doing fck all.

January 31, 20242 yr We desrved what we got but performance aside, two clear penalties just brushed over like it's nothing needs to be discussed a lot more. It's just not acceptable.
January 31, 20242 yr Even with the penalties we would of still gotten spanked I keep saying readjust your expectations we are not that “Team” anymore we are mid table at best. They won every second ball and I mean every single second ball!!! Edited January 31, 20242 yr by El regreso
January 31, 20242 yr Well that was embarrassing…..,I didn’t expect a result, they are bang on form and we are shocking away from home however a bit of fight might have been nice

Unfortunately a lot of it comes from Silva who can stroll about passing all day however the rest are not so blessed and more often than not get caught on the ball or give wayward passes when under pressure. Our style of play comes from Poch, I expected something more progressive from him. A number of lesser teams this season have shown that the scum can be got at the back but you need to be brave. We just rolled over to them from the start.
January 31, 20242 yr I thought we might have made more of game of it. We can't keep on about the penalties because they hit the woodwork 4 times and missed a penalty of their own. We were well beaten. We seem to be able to throw in a really bad performance at any given time and I see no signs of this changing. We are stuck with this for a while because there's no point in sacking Poch without a top alternative available. We are just going to have to work our way out of this and I think it could take a couple years before we are top 4 again.
January 31, 20242 yr I’ve changed my mind on Mudryk, he has been absolutely appalling lately. I had really high hopes for him even if he never really gave me a real reason for that. But this makes me think who is going to buy these players on 6-7-8 year contracts…
January 31, 20242 yr 3 minutes ago, Jangz said: Well this sucks.. how can you spend a billion and end up here.. Because new owners were stupid enough to pay ridiculous amounts for unproven inexperienced players who cannot compete when for the same or less you could have bought proven experienced players who actually can compete. I hate to admit but Liverpool have bought mostly spot on for way less than us.

Nothing worse than a team pretending the ref let them down when they themselves were utterly dogsh*t from start to finish. Edited January 31, 20242 yr by Whats_The_Mata?

He's going to look like a right mug if he mentions the ref after that performance, and that lot scoring 4 and hitting the woodwork about 3 times into the bargain
January 31, 20242 yr I’m not surprised been saying this all season the team is naive too inexperienced and this is the outcome. we were never going to win this game Edited January 31, 20242 yr by Jezq8

January 31, 20242 yr Nice to see the ref and VAR want Klopp to grab a title before he goes, it's almost like it was meant to be eh!
