I'm more concerned about looking like a team. Winning trophies is dream land right now.

Give or take a couple of exceptions, this is a set of individuals hurriedly assembled over a few transfer windows without any obvious strategy beyond buying young players with potential, and getting them on long contracts. The way we perform most weeks reflects that.

Poch need to go. That was an awful performance and yet again saved by academy boy Connor.

I just want us to look like a team and maybe very occasionally blow teams away. Is that really too much to ask for?

Second half was just awful - quite typical of this Chelsea where we have these collapses during games, but we managed to hang on and in the end beat dirty Leeds so its not all bad. Poch HAS to figure out a way to have us start halves with more energy though. On to the quarters!

It's Chelsea vs Leeds, even if we were at the peak of our powers it would be needle, gritt and blood.

Job done, never expected it to be pretty. All that matters is the win.

I do admit to having a wry smile on my face when it was Conor with the winner. No doubt the thought went through his mind if only he had finished like that, like Palace, like Villa, on Sunday.

That's what pressure does.

Less time to think. He just let instincts take over. Against Liverpool, he had time, but he lost his bottle.

Great just to see us win . Leicester won't be easy. And neither will Brentford on Saturday but this might just be a season changer. Again.

These season game changers happen more than I change my underwear 😌

To be fair, Leicester will be a tough game. They are flying.

There were no easy games left in the quarterfinals except the Coventry. We should beat the Leicester at home with no excuses. Potentially in the semis we could get Coventry or Wolves.

In the words of the great Kevin Keegan, "I would absolute love it" if Liverpool's kids turn Manchester United over at Old Trafford in the next round.

Wipe that smug grin right off Gary Neville's face LOL

Unfortunately only managed to listen to the first half on the radio and watched the 2nd half.  Boy oh boy these players are so frustrating to watch. I don’t think WernerJackson can trap and dribble a ball to save his life, and Billy Whizz Mudryk is much the same although cudos to each for their goals.  Sanchez should never put a goalie’s jersey on again for this club, Enzo and Caicedo were better today and will always be more productive when closer to each other.  Sterling can piss off in the summer, he simply doesn’t put the effort in. Still once again a favourable draw should see us in the semi’s…..I’ll take it.

thanks to everyone for their birthday wishes.

I'd still prefer United to beat Liverpool. They will be hurting if they go out of the cup to one of their arch-rivals.

Must of met you on the train, started going every game since 1968 Slough to paddington. Used to be about 60 of us.

I think the most we could put together was about 10; those days everyone at school was supporting Man Utd or Liverpool with a few Spurs supporters thrown in for good measure ..at least 10 of us had some sense😂😂😂

The win  made it worth it…but this team does your head in, doesn’t it..🤯

Makes the win that much sweeter if you have to suffer a bit on the way !

Plus we had three great goals for your birthday enjoyment :-)

Well the goals we scored  were all good. Leeds was always going to be a tough game, they are flying and clearly have some talent. We were always going to be tired but still did the business despite an early mistake.

Although I would like to have seen some minutes from the youngsters I think Poch actually did OK tonight including game management. First time I've said that. No it wasn't UEFA champions league final quality but it's a result and at times the team played well. At other times they didn't.

More minutes for Mudryck will help him. He needs regular minutes, went off in H2 because he hasn't had enough minutes.
