Best half at home we’ve seen since Spuds, if I have one criticism it’s the defending at times, improve that and add some better protection in front of the back 4 and this team could compete big time. Not getting too carried away as there is a little matter of an Argy teamtalk and another 45 to play. 

Excellent first half. The only negatives were the two chances for them that hit the bar. It just shows that our defensive game is still a bit of a mess.

Pochettino moving Cucurella to midfield when playing out of the back is probably the first piece of tactical decision making he has got right all season. Wouldn't mind seeing more of that when James returns.
