Seriously, why are we aiming to be Brighton?

Despite all of their cheating, we should aiming to be ran like City. They have an excellent football model.

There's an argument Brighton are run like City, just with 1/10th of the budget

Both clubs spend money pretty well

Prettty numb to this all now to be honest, which is probably what the board wanted. Given the other names being thrown around, at least there is evidence of RDZ putting together a functioning premier league side in the last 18 months, which is more than can be said about the rest.

Here’s to hoping his football is just crying out for a billion pound squad and that his end of season collapse was all for helping us get him aye.

f**k me this club annoys you sometimes.

Is this . . .is this true?  I mean. . .why?

Yes, 1/10 budget, 1/5 of the output on the field compares to a City. Not beating down on Brighton, they are a model club for the mid to lower teams in the league. But you don't see other teams in the top 6-8 following that model, apart from the new Chelsea.

United won FA Cup by using mourinho football and mourinho tactic

It's a myth that his style is outdated , if all the EPL team are using the same style , pep would have been sacked already by city because there is no chance in hell he won 4 EPL

That's why we must hire mourinho

One off game is ok, you play that 30+ games a season, you end up on the wrong side of the table anyway. Most teams tried to play like that against City, and failed.

Why hire Jose, Ten Hag be the guy if he gets fired tomorrow. 😅

Because those teams aren't drilled to defend like that against pep team

It's also myth to say mourinho play like that whole season. His team always score feck tons of goals and create gazillion chances

He just doesn't concentrate on having possession

1 off game and people already forgot how horrible United season is , ten hag should still get sacked regardless. They sack lvg after winning fa cup why ten hag should get any different treatment

Is De Zerbi really the manager that’s going to take Chelsea back to the top?

-4 wins in his last 19 games 📉
-18/57 points collected 🪫
-2nd for least goals scored in PL. Scored 17 goals in 19 games.
-Ranked 17th in the PL

Lost 3-0 to Bournemouth
Lost 4-0 to Man City
Lost 3-0 to Arsenal
Lost 4-0 to Roma
Lost 3-0 to Fulham
Lost 4-0 to Luton
Lost 6-1 to Aston Villa
Lost 4-1 to Newcastle
Lost 5-1 to Everton

Roberto De Zerbi has a “cheap” clause, it’s now less than €10m. Let’s see what happens with manager domino. (@FabrizioRomano) #CFC

But City spend well to win things, Brighton spend well to sell things (mainly to Chelsea).

Fancy that, all those hammerings, but oddly enough we’re not in that list.

What is "TheCFCBlueNews" source for that info? I note it is not being reported by what I might call the more usual and in my opinion higher quality   rumour sources like Ornstein or Romano. z

If they offered Poch a 2 year contract and sacked him after one year, do you think it likely they would offer De Zerbi 3 + 1?

Yeah I agree it’s not a tier 1 source. I just saw it and thought I’d post it. Personally I don’t see anyone else but RDZ coming.

I don't think RDZ will be our next manager.

Probably the only reason he is under consideration is because he think Mudyrk can be balon dor.

Hope Brighton don't put a big release clause on their next manager cause we'll be paying that in December.

You'll notice the one person these muppets have never expressed an interest in is Tony Bloom. He's the mastermind of the operation and has schooled Clearlake and Egbhali on football club ownership on numerous occasions

I tried to watch Enzo Maresca's Coaches Voice 13 minute YouTube clip where he explains tactics but got to about 6 minutes. I am sorry but in that video at least he didn't express any charisma. I don't see him being a man that motivates top players (or would be top players) to amazing feats.

Everyone knows what you get with Mourinho or Ancelotti or Guardiola. For the up and comers in England I've found Coach's voice to be quite interesting.

For what reason?

Never managed a serious club or won anything serious.

Doesn't seem to have a plan B when his plan A doesn't work.

Been smacked for multiple goals and easy losses more times than i care to think.

Fell out with Bloom, not sure how he isn't going to fall out with Clearlake.

Really not sure what im missing but the idea of RDZ seems better than the likely reality.

All of De Zerbi's previous clubs have played beautiful football and for him this is the natural step - to now sign for a truly big club and challenge for the major trophies.

How come people have so short memory and only judge him for his 2nd season at Brighton. How about his 1st one?

What am I missing, though? His first season at Brighton was so good and he improved so many players. Finished 6th, only a few points behind Klopp and qualified for Europa League. All this while playing fantastic football.

2nd season Colwill came back to Chelsea, Caicedo and Mac Allister were sold, March, Enciso and Mitoma were out for most of the season and Ferguson and Estupinan were in and out of the squad because of injuries, too. That's 8 starters. And they put no effort in replacing the departed ones with quality ones. Brighton's marquee signing was a player from Championship and apart from that a bunch of 18 and 19 year olds.

What did you expect in his 2nd season with such a squad and mid week matches? For the first time in Brighton's recent history, their board went backwards and set the club for failure. Of course De Zerbi fell out with Bloom. This was a club new to mid week matches, running on a packed schedule and a squad that cannot be compared to the one in De Zerbi's first season.

I mean we were hanging around 10-12th places for the most part of the season with a way better group of players and no mid week matches. I personally think it is stupid to judge De Zerbi on his 2nd season at Brighton w/o looking at the bigger picture.

Give him the same squad for his 2nd season, too, and he'd have challenged for top four 100%.

Bring osimhen and a top center back, we are good to go

Mourinho was in Romania yesterday. One of his friends were live on TV this morning and was asked about Mourinho's future.

Mourinho came to Romania from Bahrain were he is currently negociating with a newly promoted, but incredibly rich Saudi club. They offer him a fortune and he is interested, but would like to act as an adviser in their first season. Recommend them a coach and build the squad before taking over full time next season.

In the meantime he would like to go to Fenerbahce, in the Turkish league, for the next season and then go to Saudi Arabia "to earn huge amounts of money" (as per his friend's words).

I personally do not understand why would people still believe Mourinho is of any interest to a big club. The guy is toxic and completely washed up.
