Robbie Fowler: "I was sat next to Blues' legend Frank Lampard at the League Managers’ Association awards dinner on Tuesday night – and when the news broke that Poch had been sacked a look of utter disbelief spread across his face. Frank wasn’t the only one in the room who was shocked."

I know Guardiola often praises rival managers, but Brighton isn't a rival, he doesn't have any reason to say this unless he actually means it.

He praises them before a game and then proceeds to put 5 past them.

Sometimes I think he just does it for fun.

Said the same about sarri and then pumped us if I remember correctly

He usually says this about managers who plays a worse version of Peps football, he loves them because he knows he’ll beat them with ease

Before he left Brighton by mutual consent 😅 his buyout clause was 50 million 💶 currently it’s less than 10 million . So he comes as a bargain 😂 if he does in fact replace Poch

Taking us for mugs about secret 4 choice when everyone knew it RDZ. He’s most likely already signed.

Only Eghbali, Stewart and Winstanley could "seek a manager with Premier League experience" and have a shortlist on which two of the four names have never managed in the PL ...

Pep is usually respectful towards managers in the media given his repertoire of 'humbling' remarks. It's typical along the lines of how said manager is great and that they need time like any other manager.

There are only a few instances though where Pep genuinely gets a hard on talking about a manager and their footballing principles. Pep is Marcelo Bielsa's biggest fan boy. There's also Sarri and now unsurprisingly, De Zerbi. These are footballing purists with a Jekyll/Hyde philosophy on how the game should be played.

RDZ win rate apparently.

The one club that would be expected to have a high win rate he got 66% with, which is higher than every single permanent Chelsea manager except for Mourinho's first stint (67%).

30 games is a small sample size but I wouldn't expect the likes of Sassuolo and Brighton to have a high win rate regardless of who's in charge.

Pep talked a lot about Tuchel ahead of the CL final that we won.

What competition does Shaktar even have?

Not much I'd imagine, but it's the only club that would be expected to win their games like us.

It's pointless looking at his win rates at mid table clubs and thinking that it makes him a bad manager. Ancelotti had a 46% win rate with Everton.
