Given we’ve been lied to about CL qualification raising the quality of transfers, they’re completely fine with battling with Top 4 every season.
November 8, 2025Nov 8 Standards at this club have dropped to Spurs levels. Revolting behaviour and mindset to think anything other than a title at the end of the season is acceptable.
November 8, 2025Nov 8 What's frustrating is we are so so close to being a team that can challenge for the league and CL and I think appointing a top manager resolves most of our issues.
November 8, 2025Nov 8 United are second 😂😂 obviously they won’t stay their but just shows how sh*te we have been.

Technically he can get away with saying that, but nobody in the game considers it to be rotation when you're changing 7-11 players in every game.We need a balance, a team that can build chemistry.Duh!! Of course you can't play the same XI across a whole season. Even if player fatigue wasn't a problem, suspensions, injuries, squad harmony, would all garuantee changes would have to be made at some points. It's accepted that rotation is something all managers will have to do occaisionally. But it is a question of the degree of rotation and the actual necessity of it.Rotation isn't a problem in itself, it is the level of rotation, the amount of players chopped in and out, and the frequency that happens, which for Mental Maresca, is every bloody game. This is yet another press conference where he makes another stupid statement that he thinks is a clever answer but really only highlights his stubborness and lack of intelligence.
November 8, 2025Nov 8 It's going to take us losing 10 games in a row for the idiots upstairs to sack him isn't it?

November 8, 2025Nov 8 On tiptoeing in, I write my first post.Sure Chelsea supporters are used to more than that, but I can't be that negative about Maresca...and I'm certainly not saying this to defend the fact that he's Italian...for me it's not for sure an added value, indeed...It's true, this year in particular there is too much turnover but Chelsea's matches have always been well played and above all we put many young players on the pitch every time.Surely there are better coaches with much more experience than Maresca who (perhaps) would make the team play better. But are there so many?Obviously sorry for this banal post, mine is certainly not an objective judgment because unfortunately I always have before my eyes the sad show of football matches in Italy...and when I see a Chelsea match, whether it wins or it gets lost, it beats my heart out...now almost like when I watch a Sampdoria match.Back in the shadows reading and learning...🙂
November 8, 2025Nov 8 Does Marescas rotation contribute to more injuries than help by managing minutes?Tough to prove, but Pulisic was commented on this. Something to the effect of the rotation and stop start at Chelsea made it difficult to feel in peak condition. Makes me wonder if players should be more consistently used. Arsenal don’t really rotate their midfield and defense and have little impact from it.
November 8, 2025Nov 8 Maresca is always searching for solutions and that was the case again today. We were terrible in the first half and only really took control when Estevao came on. When we win, it always takes a little moment of individual quality to make it happen, it rarely feels like it is because of Maresca's tactics.
November 9, 2025Nov 9 This surprised me , still wish he’d cut out mass rotation & his now found out fullbacks up top !

The majority of the time rubbish even when we do scrape wins.

The moment he said Sancho fit the way he want to play more than Sterling, I know what we will get with Maresca.
November 9, 2025Nov 9 6 points behind Arsenal. With this pi$$ easy start to the season we should be top.Brentford three away 2 easy points. In front at home to both Brighton and Sunderland and left with 0 points.Nevermind other matches, 8 more points, top. Thrown away by our own stupidity.

That's what I'm clinging on to this season. And still I want Fraudo gone, preferably with SDs in tow. Then our owner will bring similar SDs who will hire similar manager.
November 9, 2025Nov 9 We may be 2nd in the table, but our current points per game only extrapolates to 69 points for the season. I thought the standard of the top PL teams was poor last season, but this year it is even worse LOL.We're not really making any progress and the football is pretty turgid ... no doubt Maresca's contract extension and pay rise will be announced shortly !
November 9, 2025Nov 9 There were times yesterday when the player with the ball had acres of space to run into and wolves players were out of position. What do you think those players did ?Have a wild guess. They stopped, slowed down the play and pass it back to the CBs.I have no freaking words for this stupidity by £land Pep.You could hear the groans from the fans too when they did it.

It was shameful to watch the defenders passing it backwards and sideways when there was acres of space for them to carry the ball forward, instead it was a safe option to pass the 5 yards to the nearest defender; no wonder the forward players simply remained static. The first half was easy for Wolves to defend as there was little penetration.

And it's been like that for some years now.Mid table clubs and also the newly promoted one can attract very good players now that it makes it harder for the so called big clubs to just walk the league. Xhaka is a focal point in the Swiss NT and was a focal point for Leverkusen last year and in the winning league title season. Did not make any difference when a newly promoted Sunderland showed him the money. All these mid table clubs can now bring quality players that some top six German, French, Italian or Spanish clubs can't touch because of their wages.
November 9, 2025Nov 9 Something is seriously off when we are 2nd in the table, and still the fans want the fraud gone.He is clueless. Most certainly it is a case of “despite” Maresca, and not “because “ of him. Edited November 9, 2025Nov 9 by nonotnowjim
