Why would he leave Camp Spotify for Chelsea? Well it might be the financial package. Maybe?

€6m a year at Chelsea, tripling the €2m a year offered by Barcelona. That is £100k/w for an 18yr old with 100mins of 1st team football.

Barcelona fans that I have spoken with think that his releasee clause is what he is worth and it is a fair price. I think they are kidding themselves. €6m euros for a player who is easily worth triple that in the near future.

City initially copied Barca by bringing in their people and are essentially a Barca clone with bottomless pockets. The only reason for focussing on Barca is because of their financial troubles. that we can sign some talented teenagers relatively cheaply who can play Maresca-ball (Pep-ball). Don't think talented players will be available in City's academy for €6m only.

We haven't yet.

Waiting on his undying loyalty speech and Barcelona get as much PR capital out of it to show the footballing world that they are still a massive draw for players even in their financial cups, and not the reality the they are a bankrupt, corrupt football club

He’s a top La Masia product who many wanted to be a rotation option to Lewandiwski. They’re pissed off. 

Barca were giving players like Sergi Roberto 250kpw so it’s no surprise they are incredibly skint now. Unsure of what we are offering him but his wages are essentially first team, so 60-80kpw. 

It’s reported all over twitter that he’s already signed the contract and will be on 50k per week. It was also reported on the Spanish media earlier this week that he had been told by the club that he’d stay with the first team, so I expect him to compete with Jackson for a place in the starting lineup.

If he’s joining to be a first team player then unless a top draw striker becomes available we should now turn our attention to other positions in the team like a decent left winger and a top class goalkeeper.

Now we have a backup to Jackson. I think Jackson showed enough last season to carry on leading the line, so glad we've not wasted £100m on an Osimhen.

He can play straight away..let Jackson play the first half and once he has missed 3 or 4 easy chances then Guiu can come on..we have nothing to loose ..🙂 🙂

My feeling is that Marc is still a kid and work in progress, but he has a good first touch which is crucial for strikers these days and is perhaps where Big Rom and Jackson have been a bit lacking?

Hard not to be excited.  Seems to check all the boxes.  Will need time to adjust to PL but this could be a very good signing.

That probably comes from the sour media close to Barsa. They’ve been writing all week about how Guiu was behind Broja, Washington, Fofana etc as spite, they are fuming.
