August 30, 20241 yr Apparently Juve have withdrawn there offer for him. so let's see how good our directors are. Get united to buy Chilwell and Sterling and in return buy Sancho and put him on no more than 125k a week.

He has struggled in the PL because he has no pace, and can’t beat a man with the ball. His game is built on his positioning and give and go. You ask most Utd fans and they will tell you they think his game is more suited to the middle of the park. Problem there is he doesn’t press, and is a luxury player. Ohh and we are getting Paez and Estevao next season, so what is the plan here?

The deal makes a lot of sense. - it gets rid of 3 (perceived) problem players - 2 for us, one for utd. -it gives us 2 genuine options in each position (sancho and Neto being the 2 options for the left wing - a spot which should have been for Mudryk if he could deliver anything) - it is a player that maresca know and has worked with before - he is a player who knows and has played with palmer before - he fits the profile (young, high ceiling, relatively low price, high potential resale) - the deal would lower the wage bill I am not saying he is reliable or good enough - but if we are looking from a position of logic, then it makes sense to all parties - likely including the player.
August 30, 20241 yr When did Maresca work with Sancho ? I don't think their City timelines overlap at any point ?

He has no pace and is lazy in the press. Has disaster written all over him. - Well Sterling & his agent are saying if all conditions & bonuses were met, his contract is worth £70m. Good luck an exit, I don’t think Sterling is going anywhere. He just isn’t, I’d rather give those mins to Tyrique George. There is a reason Utd have dropped the fee to £25m for a player they paid £73m for. A few days ago they were demanding £43m from PSG. It isn’t just the lateness and indiscipline, there was an episode when Ten Haag had to send him out to Holland for months to go train out there during the season. He isn’t anyone a serious club would be looking at.

If Clearlake have this so called master vision in place wouldn't you think there'd be a plan for Estevao and Paez ready in place for next season, or are we just going to put 2 random players in exile next summer Sterling style? We should be fine attack wise if we can get striker, more wingers/10s are not necessary. George and Mudryk are more than enough back up until the great hopes Estevao and Paez turn up to save us.

August 30, 20241 yr Are we there yet? 😎 I wonder who's going to be told to go to bomb squad when Sancho is signed in the 11th hour.

August 30, 20241 yr So, do we have a loan deal lined up for Mudryck? Because that is the only way that signing Sancho makes sense. Oh and Sterling being sold too. and probably that other 'winger' Ben.
