Second half was a bit pedestrian but given the score I think anyone would take their foot of the accelerator. Very good performance. Now let's take top spot and do the Toffees

We finished top of the league phase, won all of our games, scored 26 goals, with a mix of B and C squad players.

Excellent result. Very comfortable in the end. Some good performances from the youngsters/apprentices.

Back in March, we really should be winning this trophy

Great win! Good goals and a nice hat trick for Guiu, who’s turning into a very good number 9. How he’s read the game for the two first goals and the finish from a tight angle for the second is nice to see from an 18 year old. I also enjoyed Acheampong’s performance, quite good and I’d consider to start giving him minutes in the PL as we’re short on RB.

On we go to Goodison Park and let’s get the three points there!
