40m plus a 10% sell on? That's an absolute sh*t deal for us.

Hopefully he turns into a good player and people are coming back to this post to banter me, but I feel like the directors have had tunnel vision with this guy since last season. They could have got a better player for a better deal than that.

It’s like this transfer was always going to happen, like nothing could stop it. It’s not like it was any sort of bargain.

It’s a strange one, like all new signings hope it works cause I don’t know what’s going to happen with Simons now but there were a lot of options this summer and someone really wanted Garnacho.

His age. Number of appearances. For a relatively minor fee. Premier league experience. Played in front of greater pressure. With Enzo F as someone who will tell him in no uncertain terms to buck his f**king ideas up.

He could he a great signing.

And if he is. Oh how f**king sweet will that be to hold over United.

And if he isn't. Well...we can sell him to Italy for 20m and not lose that much

I think we need to now cut him some slack. He’s going to wear the Chelsea blue and requires our support. Clearly many behind the scenes rate him very highly. He is still barely 21 , very much a player in development, who could suddenly explode onto the scene. It’s a gamble we’ve taken…at worst we’ll drop 10m on the deal but if he does fulfill his youth potential who knows?

Not much better than the likes of Elanga or Madueke in regards to stats. I mean he has been performing for a poor Man Utd side so I guess in that regard he's done alright. Do you guys think he can improve on his goal contributions with us? It's not a signing that gets me off my seat, but we'll see how he does. He plays for us now and I'll support him. To be honest I am slightly worried about his supposed attitude issues, along with his brother's social media chatter. A few bad results and will there be unsettlement?
