I've been pretty lenient about Neto all season. New team, different formation etc.

But he's an experienced Premiership player, he's been f**king awful pretty much all season.

I will never blame Gusto for his disasterclass performance everytime he inverts . I blame maresca for always making him invert into midfield . He doesnt have the skillset but Maresca is just a stubbort twat

He isn't, but in all honesty Sanchez has been in good form. The team that has been playing in the league have been in good form. Colwill been fantastic in last 6 games, where we have been solid defensively.

Chalobah coming in for Tosin is no big deal, but James, Colwill, and Sanchez had to start.

I can understand Gusto looking shaky, he has barely played in a month. Early goal conceded and all that positive energy from sunday is drained from the team.

Maresca is not it. Greatful for champions league football, but like Lampard it doesn't mean he is a good enough manager. Feels like we win games in spite of Maresca, not because of him.

He's coping. He's been deluding himself about the ownership since day 1, won't question a single thing they do even when it's blindingly obvious how stupid it is. Because of this, he won't put any blame on Maresca because it's part of the grand plan of these owners to have him there.

This young group are facing their second final defeat back to back, it will be Palmer's third because of the Euro final. This won't help them grow as players, it will make them doubt themselves. The last thing we needed today was more of Maresca's bullsh*t.

Agreed, Gusto looked class when he joined us and genuine competition for James, bombing up and down the right, staying wide, defensively sound and a threat going forward. But when hes picking the ball up in central mid he ends up losing it a lot of the time because hes not a central midfielder! Maresca has forced him to play like this and his confidence is shot.
