Facundo Bounanotte - Loan agreed.

Featured Replies

Day we agree to sell nkunku we agree to buy garnacho for a similar fee?

We cannot sell Jackson so don't make a move for simons and instead hijack Leeds loan deal for this guy from Brighton?

Yeah Our uefa ffp status at work here imo.

Not ready for brightens first team, and no option to buy? Weird one for him. Better if he quit to Leeds and played rwgularly. what incentive do we have to use him and develop him for Brighton?

I'm not here to be the owners/SDs keepers, I was just pointing out we aren't going bankrupt any time soon.

Might not be going bankrupt, but heavy squad restricymtion in europe, and if we didn't sell the women's team and hotel to ourselves, we would be getting points deductions in the prem.

Financially over the place.

£80-100m lost revenue from not even securing a sponsor!

I reckon it must be because we don’t have the money for a big signing with Jackson not being sold and also that we have a couple of youngsters coming on the books already lined up for next season (Paez and Quenda).

It’s still really weird though.

Chelsea are close to signing Buoananotte.

The club face restraints in the transfer market, having been fined £26m by Uefa in July for breaching financial rules.

They are under pressure to maintain a "positive transfer balance" or risk being unable to register new signings for the Champions League league phase.

They prioritised Garnacho over Simons.

I can't see this being good for anyone involved based on expected playing time. Chelsea have another player to bloat our squad and send a poor signal to our academy, he probably won't play enough to increase his value for Brighton, and the player is just going to be frustrated and probably left out of match squads. Why bother at all? How many potential 10s do we really need?

I thought it was bad enough having one underwhelming Argentine in our squad, but now we've got bloody three of them 🤠 🤡 💩

Would rather have kept Felix or Chukwuemeka if we needed CAM cover (nice debut hat trick from Joao today LOL).

And BlueCo signing Enciso after a failed medical shows that they clearly learned absolutely nothing from the Fofana medical fiasco ...

Other than a decently cool name, why is this deal even happening?

We've basically became Brighton's investor at some point. We vacuum up their best whilst being used by them to move any unwanted players.

Just say you want total world domination BlueCo, we all know this

SO why not just not sign someone then? We've got enough players as it is. These pointless short-term signings just bloat up the squad.

Kendry Paez is coming back next year. Quenda too. Stop gap is my guess, similar to KDH until Santos and Essugio came back.

My god, they really did have tunnel vision when it came to Garnacho.

Probably sailing so close to the wind on the UEFA PSR stuff that the difference maker was the 40 vs 52 on the fee !

Just makes the Gittens deal all the more bizarre. It should have been Simons and one of Gittens or Garnacho, never both. The pair of them are a massive gamble. Gittens with his Saul Niguez like performance against Palace scared me. Garnacho has multiple issues going against him. It should only have been one of them.
