Not a chance, and I do wonder if he has spoken to the Sporting Directors before coming out with this. For Sterling to be reintegrated, the club will need to move some of our wingers out (UEFA 1 in 1 out, and PL list).

Personally can’t take him serious as a Chelsea manager.

The sporting directors wants these players playing so they have the opportunity to sell them.

I wouldn’t be surprised if I saw them both playing again regularly to get their value up.

It won’t be with us though, they will need to free up international loan spots. We are restricted in the market because same Sporting Directors went buying every young player in the market without a plan. Apparently we are trying to sell Datro Fofana to Celtics or a championship club to free up a loan space, we might also be recalling Paez from Strasbourg to free up another international loan space.

Thanks Mark more information here than from our resident word salad supremo. Speaking with Sterling and Disasi plus trusting Buononotte isn't going to achieve much. Our man seems desperate to achieve some sort of recognition. A few no nonsense wins might help.

So, basically we're back to before Maresca finally realised this team can't play out from the back and bait the press. So, he's done no research on previous matches, either that or he's just one of these "this is my system, we play like this" guys. Going to concede a lot of stupid goals again.

I want to back the club and players. I want the manager to get the best out of the players. I want the players to perform as we know they can. The mid to lower end of the table is not where I want to be so I am keeping my fingers crossed that if you throw enough sh*t at a wall, some will eventually stick. Since Barcelona we have:

5 draws

5 losses

2 of those wins were vs Cardiff and Charlton in the cups.

2 losses in 3 for Liam. Don't let the PR fool you, he was involved vs Fulham but ultimately does what he is told.

He won't. Whatever his reasons are, reckon they aren't for external consumption. He might give us a BS one, but I think he simply wasn't liking what he saw and was trying different things... it's a bit late for that, but he's new. 😅

Good luck to him with that defense line, but he might be used to that level of quality from his prior job.

Feels like we have another coach that doesnt have tbe players to play how he wants.

I think club needs to move for Maignan on a free.We cant play out the back and bait teams press with Sanchez, who has done okay this season. We camt use Jorgensen, as he just isnt good enough at the actual goalkeeping part. Penders is still a cpuple of years off, its a big ask to come in and play like that under the pressure at that age.

Centre back is an absolute car crash. Need to get them all gone, Colwill is the only one that has shown potential in tersm of leadership, ball playing ability, defensive awareness. We got Sarr and Anselmino on loan, both kids, the latter cant stay fit. Surely Guehi is a must, homegrown, knows the league, knows the club, leader, ball playing defender, available on a free or right now for £35m. Id also bring in anpthrr top defender too like Schotterbeck, then you have a real strong pairing with a bit of pedigree.

The rest of the squad i think we can make a tune with, striker and right midfield has some question marks, but nothing that fundamentaly hinders how coaches can set their team up.

With Palmer, James, Caicedo, Gusto, Delap and more out, what on earth did you expect?

You need a reality check. Arsenal are unfortunately probably the best team in the league, facing a weakened Chelsea side, at full strength. And the game finished 3-2, thanks to Sanchez 2 mistakes that lead to goals.

and probably not to play Essugo too as he wasn't ready to be risked in an actual game.

Rosenior feels like Potter v2. I don't mean in terms of managerial skills. Only time will tell how he does in his career. But he is English and media friendly and that helps the owners to gaslight the fans with some positive press. Plus he has no doubt agreed to follow orders from the SD's and owners, at least for now.
