These pricks thought they could turn up, but a load of 20 year olds, appoint sh*t managers and have that CL money roll in while challenging for things. Missing out on the CL this season should warrant a huge rethink in strategy, not winning stuff won't do it but losing out on millions might do the trick. After 4 years surely Clearlake can't be happy with what's happening on and off the field.

Ha! the Man U "ownership" idea is a different beast. A fascinating story. 20 + years now and the Glazers have plundered and used that club. Our owners at least plan to increase our value and sell us on - just like any other investment. That said, all the American capitlaist owners are looking forward to the European Soccer League and capitalism is a brutal pyschopath.

The squad isn't built for any manager. It is built for Clearlake. The owners don't see value in managers. They will continue to back whoever is the coach until they need somebody to blame and then they will make a change.

Problem with that is that the CL money gives us some chance of coping with the huge liabilities we have due to offering inflated wages to mediocre football players.

We have tied ourselves in knots with a transfer strategy devised by people with as much knowledge of football as Stevie Wonder has of taking tight corners in a Lamborghini.

I genuinely think that we automatically played in the Champions League each year. Their arrogance and lack of due diligence is so evident in so many areas since they arrived, I truly believe that qualification for the CL along with the real prospect of relegation from this league are concepts completely alien to this mob and they simply would never have bothered finding out how the game operates

Have you followed any of the Glazer Family story at united? It's a lot worse than Todd & co. Not excusing Todd and Co. in the least, but what they have been doing at Man U that is next level.

It is, but their revenue and commercial power is in such a different stratosphere that it has taken over a decade (and PSR rules) for them to feel even basic financial stress. Remember they had one of the most successful periods in their post-Glazer takeover, despite a lack of investment for Ferguson. The fact that the Glazers use the club as collateral in their personal dealings is basically meaningless.

PSR is gone as of next season and the replacement rules give greater power to high-revenue clubs. Man United are probably only a trophy away from regaining their financial might.

Come on Val, since that tax dodger RATcliffe took over, they've sacked over 200 employees, some of the lowest paid as well, and have removed some of the benefits that they had. We are really badly run by the clowns, but ManUtd's owners are really the worst you can get, imo.

A lot of these PSR rules are a joke designed to keep the big boys at the top.

They'll probably try an AI manager next since we've got an AI sponsor now. That would be right up their data-driven alley. Just feed all stats from the history of football into an AI model and tell it to run the team.

Talk Sport have asked for someone from the club to speak on what the so called project is and explain to us supporters what the future plan is. I won’t hold my breath!
