We effectively won the game in the first half and our exhausted squad which has played a game every three days since the middle of November

Er? ALL TEAMS IN THE PL WHO ARE PLAYING IN EUROPE HAVE PLAYED THE SAME AMONT OF GAMES

TRY BEING PALACE VILLA OR FOREST WHO HAVE SMALLER SQUADS THEN OURS

If this was Maresca we wouldn't be winning in the first place so this is a moot point.

Even Maresca would have won this game. Wolves in that first half were the worst team we have played since we played them in the cup.

Ifs and buts, moot point to say that Maresca wouldn’t win this game. But, if this sh*t game was served by him, we’d be all over him. I don’t know why LR gets so much of a pass, maybe because he’s English?

Palace. Villa and Forest didn't play in the Club World Cup

In a results business will take that. We’ve slipped up in games like this before.

Is it game management for a team playing every three days, or performance levels.

Regardless, this Chelsea team leaves me with more questions than answers each week.

Well at least the top 4 chase remains interesting…although I still think we’ll finish outside of it due to our inconsistency and ability to actually play football. Man Utd have been the biggest surprise to me with the turn around they’ve had and Liverpool also with their inconsistency.

Or maybe cause ultimately all that matters are results and he is delivering?

I'm starting to think Winstanley and Stewart signed him to improve relations with United after not signing Sancho on a permanent deal, because I cannot understand why he was so sought after all summer.

Similar situation to signing Felipe Luis when we bought Costa.

Sign a player's best mate to help him feel more settled.

In our case it's good old Enzo that they want to feel loved and settled LOL. Lucky us eh !

I only saw the last 15 mins, couldn't draw many conclusions from what I saw, but I am recovering from major brain surgery... I think it's fair to say Cole Palmer was the main man on an underwhelming day?

Was it the rain that dampened the second half? lol

As soon as Garnacho came on you knew the rest of the game was going to be super dull. One trick pony - or rather a one trick donkey. Still 3 useful points. Some goal difference. A win is a win.

Wolves defenders were the main men today, they expertly made tackles on our players that gave us 2 free hits.

If Liverpool and city draw tomorrow we are 3 clear of Liverpool, Villa dropped points today we are only 5pts of 2nd and 4pts off 3rd it’s not really a fight for 4th anymore it’s far more open.

Was hoping spuds could at least hold Utd to a draw today UTD have easy fixtures coming up.

The absolute state of match threads on here 😅

It reminds me of a phrase I heard recently: ‘nobody hates their country more than a right wing patriot’. Nobody hates Chelsea more than a Shed Ender.

Yeah... and what if they hadn't ?

We could be sitting here with 0 points

He was atrocious. Waste of space, waste of a sub, how is he playing for Chelsea football club, or any club, or even being given a ‘professional’ visa in the UK for that matter I don’t know.

Horrible. Pathetic. A crime against entertainment. No way would I ever pay to watch this sort of dross.

No way this team makes the Champions League. Not a prayer. It is between us, Man Utd and Liverpool chasing two spots. Both of those sides are way beyond us in standard.

Garnacho is absolutely terrible isn’t he.. gives the ball away constantly can’t beat a man. Woeful.

Never wanted him, don't rate him, can't wait until he's gone. Doesn't belong here, he's not a Chelsea player, he should be playing for Leeds

Good first half, helped by stupid decision making and a lack of intensity by Wolves players

Caceido and Santos controlled the midfield

Palmer first player to score a hat trick three times in the first half in the PL

Second half a bit sloppy in possession and decision making

On to dirty Leeds
