Arsenal vs Chelsea (PL) Sunday 1st March 16:30 GMT

Credit the fight in the team and going for the point till the end, at least that was heartening, but we need points over performances. I think that's the CL place done. Shame. Hope we see genuine progress in the way we play between now and the summer. League position is irrelavent now for me. Will watch the FA Cup and the romance about lifting that until we get dumped out.

We HAVE to beat Villa to stand any chance of top 5.

United & Liverpool are going to kick on now, so it’s really down to Villa’s downfall. And even then, the conversation ended when we dropped points to nothing sides.

Arsenals squad is everything we used to be. We’ve turned into them during the later Wenger years.

Owners have stripped away our identity. Well go again in the summer, sell the flops and buy some more kids.

This team isn’t going anywhere until the owners are gone. This is our level now.

No, absolutely not.

You are comparing the era that won 14 trophies. What the f*ck have Arsenal won?

Oddly enough it is Arsenal that are the dirty team, but they haven't had one player sent off this season. Not one. Chelsea on the other hand are without gamesmanship and game management and discipline.

Its not too surprising though. With this ridiculous project we have an inexperienced squad managed by an inexperienced manager. We've been lacking in any discipline ever since Clearlake got their grubby fingers on the club.

Brentford are flying and Everton and Fulham are in solid form.

It's just not good enough. No chemistry or coherence, and too many players who cannot even manage the basics of their roles and just run around making stupid decisions or picking up cards for no good reason.

I think James is a very good player, but it feels like the team is lacking leadership, character and grit on the pitch. Arsenal were not good today and points were up for grabs, but we had no clue.

Sarr had a great game - kid is only 20. Lavia played better than Santos when he came on. JPedro did well throughout the game. Reece James was excellent. Hato did well against Saka imho. Caicedo was solid as usual. Chalobah also solid. Palmer is still not quite right - but he is still the most talented player on the pitch. In all honesty i think we deserved a point.

TBF they couldn't have argued if Rice had been sent off for his hand ball and strangling.

Could have and probably should have won that one...

This week it was Neto's turn to throw it away for us...

How many more red cards before we wake up ?

It's the perfect illustration of what we've been saying. When it really, really matters, winners stand up. Neto, Sanchez (cannot play against Arsenal) and then Gusto, Tosin and Garnacho coming on. We are always going to fail with these weak players.

F*ck off Arsenal. They absolutely deserved to get thumped today with their performance. They were completely terrified. Of course we f*cked it up ourselves.

What I’ve seen tonight is that Arsenal are not winning the league. They were extremely nervous, even against 10 men. Not a sign of PL champions.

But they have an absolutely top class goalkeeper. We have Shaky the Clown in goal for us.

I am comparing their squad with our squad, stop being so touchy.

They have a team full of physicality all over the pitch and they look like men and we look like boys. We used to have that across the pitch and we don't anymore.

More disappointment but overall, I think we looked the better side. That lot rely so much on set-pieces and other than that, they really didn't look all that.

Sanchez and Neto lost that for us today, when we deserved at least a draw. Good to see Lavia back. We HAVE to get this guy fit as we will be a whole lot better with Lavia in the side in place of Enzo.

Knew we were going to lose this one yet somehow still found a way to get disappointed.

Turned off the game after Neto's red card.

Everyone on the pitch today can do one. That includes the likes of Palmer and Caicedo.

We're so scared of losing them yet we're still dog sh*t with them on the pitch, so what's the point? They're as guilty as anyone else.

Agreed, its just that we expect that stupidity to happen every single game. So much so that I didn’t really feel like celebrating our equalizer to much either. Which could just be me being a miserable old git of course, but I really expect nothing but the worst from this lot.

I don't think there are better examples of "seen it all before" than there is of Chelsea. Just like when Pedro missed that chance at 1-1. Should have been an easy header for 2-1. I knew if we didn't take that chance it would soon go wrong, and it did, it always does. This lot never learn and they never will.

You should switch off for good. Don't need supporters like you. Sure we lost but overall, we were the better side today.

Same. I'm done defending Palmer. The guy has clearly been holding out on surgery to save himself for England and it's helped sabotage our season. I'm sure people will say "how do you know it's his decision" and in all honesty, I can't even argue with them, because I can't prove it. It just seems obvious to me. I'm fully expecting him to get surgery the moment the world cup ends, but by that point, the damage would have already been done. Good for England, I guess.

As for Caicedo, all he has shown himself to be of late is a hot head. Can't control himself on the pitch unless things are going well. Losses his head too much and it started to happen when we were 1-0 down. His discipline is as bad as anybody's.

Story remains the same against Arsenal.

No matter who has the better coach, players or performance we either gift them 3, or sometimes just 1, points or we don't show up. Either way we don't win. Our record over the past 8 years or so vs them is appalling

3 loses and a draw vs them this season, and further medicine for their title nerves after doctor Tottenham aided them last week.

We were sh*te in the first half, we couldn't stop making mistakes. We could have easily been out of the game before James corner saved us. Arsenal started panicking after that and started the half poor, then Pedro missed his chance and the usual suspects for us decided to lose their heads. It's the same story over and over again. The squad is full of unlikeable idiots.
