He was supposed to be the next Yaya Toure. He is still only 28. Over the years we really have wasted some real money. Edited June 16, 20233 yr by TheCeleryKing

June 16, 20233 yr The 17 players signed/loaned since 2016/17, and who are no longer at the club, have been sold/released/returned for about £352 million less than we have paid. Alonso ; Luiz ; Kante ; Batshuayi ; Barkley ; Giroud ; Emerson ; Zappacosta ; Rudiger ; Drinkwater ; Bakayoko ; Morata ; Higuaín ; Jorginho ; Werner ; Saul ; Zakaria (included Kante as I think that's basically a done deal)

I always thought he looked a bit sh*t. Toure had a bit of everything, Bakayoko could barely control a football. With all of the hype I saw online about Bakayoko, the generational talent crap with Havertz and Morata being destined to be an elite striker, it really does make you realise that most people just talk crap and don't really know all that much about a player. I'm certain they fake it to make it seem like they know what they are talking about. They watch a few highlights videos on Youtube and then go on forums or Twitter and say they have been watching the player for years.

June 18, 20233 yr Nicolo Barella to Chelsea? Chelsea and Inter are discussing a number of different players. I think, with inter having interest in possibly 2/ 3 of our players and us having interest in a few of there’s something can be done, not sure who but I’m confident.

Martinez is apparently Pochettino biggest wish signing this summer, and reportedly why we dropped out of the Onana bidding. Trevor Chalobah has been holidaying in Milan, and apparently been having talks with Inter as well. He could well be sold to Inter for around 25-30mill, which would give us FFP pure profit, and Inter could them sell us Martinez for a much greater fee, in a deal all parties hope will involve Lukaku going to Inter. Though how he goes there, loan/sale, is a big issue. Pochettino would apparently rather have Martinez and Caicedo join and have to remain using Kepa, than he would target a top keeper.
June 18, 20233 yr The PIF are paying 55mill euros to Wolves for Ruben Neves. Gives us hope of getting go fees for Ziyech, Koulibaly, Aubameyang and Mendy IF they agree to moves.

June 23, 20233 yr Alex Disasi (Monaco) linked in French press with a move to the Bridge - I can see the headlines already.......
June 26, 20233 yr Dujuan Richards 17 will join the club when he turns 18 in October. Richards, who is currently at the Kingston-based Phoenix All Stars Academy, made his senior Jamaica debut in March against Trinidad & Tobago. Jamaica play the United States in their opening Group A game later on Saturday in Chicago – so we might get a chance to see him.

Great young players full of potential on long-term contracts. It is a decent strategy. BUT are we going to sign any grown ups this summer? This week is about selling and meeting the June 30th deadline. Next week we SPEND SPEND SPEND
June 26, 20233 yr Newcastle in talks to sign Tino Livermento for £12m. Reckon that will be a good signing assuming he’s over his ACL injury

June 27, 20233 yr Think the bidding will go over 100M, so let's hope we keep ourselves out of it. It's been said before, City doesn't really need Rice, but they could afford to get involved just to unsettle Arsenal. It's going back to the drawing board time if Arsenal lose out, if they do win the bidding war, they are going to overpay. No wonder Arteta has blocked Pep's number, according to some not very credible sources
