Sarr for me is just a very timid defender. I used to think he was very composed until attackers actually got in his face. Anselmino is the same way in my opinion.

Mostly on the sales side though. However, I'm a bit suspicious on the deals between some clubs as if they're scratching each other back for tackling the ffp. With that said, Chelsea haven't sold anyone to brighton, due some big money back from them unless there is some shady sh*t between the owners.

Seems interesting. I’d not heard of him but after a quick Google seems he’s been linked with Liverpool and Real Madrid this summer.

Described as a physical player but at 5’8” not a big unit. A new Kante type player perhaps? Which would be great! And maybe a less expensive midfielder to replace Fernandez, assuming we do sell him to City.

Just a few days ago I wanted to write here that IMHO the best partner for Caicedo would not be someone like Wharton or Scott, but someone like the guy that Brentford signed this summer. Sangare?! He bossed the midfield in the first round against Spurs.

The thing is that the system that Alonso will use is basically a two-man midfield with wing-backs that will bomb forward and lots of people that will get into the penalty area. We saw it against Fulham and once again last night, when one wing-back was crossing, the other one was already in the penalty area. This is risky football because the wing-backs will always be up the pitch and we need people to defend as well, which is why I believe is better to have two Caicedos is midfield. Premier League is a monster league in terms of transition football, playing the way Alonso wants, but with Scott or Wharton there next to one defensive midfielder only, it really would be incredibly risky.

He can certainly finish from outside the box.
