What a BRILLIANT way to end the season, love the internet was able to watch the parade on Chelsea TV online, started tearing up again

its been a mixed week for me as my old lady gave me a P45 a few days ago, 8 years ago we met all the squad & Jose in Seattle, us 2 were madly in love and Chelsea went on to make history. I dont know who I am gonna miss more her or Drogba. It feels like its come full circle Chels bagging big ears and me heading up to Seattle again on the 18th of July this time with me reliable English mates not her.

Plus only a month to go to the Euros and with JT and the boys rightly selected for the England team I can follow my beloved country with pride again as I continue my exile on main st.

Cheers everybody for the banter on here over the season and a great finale yesterday , EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS 2012. Keep The Faith as more trophies wait next season.

No congratulations ?

It sounds as though you thought your team deserved to win it, I personally thought after 5 minutes "WTF.. this Bayern team are not all that special" and "we can do this".

Your best 3 players did not show up, Drogba did.

Good luck next season, maybe you will beat us at Wembley next year, see you there.

Of course I think we deserved to win it, we should have won comfortably. However we f#cked up and that's life. Show as much dignity in victory as I'm trying to show in defeat mate.

No problem, Zippy. Credit for you to come onto our web site after such a tough loss.

Please come back from time to time.

I will mate, enjoy your day. All I want is the respect that I show others.

Your information to Chelsea fans on places to stay and watch the match in Munich was immeasurable, and even though I did not leave my house in the U.S., I know that they and all others on this forum sincerely thank you.

Anytime. Glad to be of help, obviously the result wasn't what I wanted but there you go.

for sheer heart, guts, refusal to accept defeat, chelsea deserve to win this season's champions league...there is no doubt thought it was our weakest team of all the years, but all the luck we had is payback for all the bad over the past eight years...you just feel bayern weren't just playing chelsea, they were fighting destiny and the undeniable truth that this club deserves to be European champions...glory is ours

The whole dream is being repeated on ITV1 in 10 mins.

I came in drunk and saw it on and, for a moment, wondered if UEFA had made us replay the match 'cos they didn't get the right result...

Chelsea formed 1905. European cup winners on 19.05 2012. Written in the stars!!!!!

Seriously, stop saying that. It's not "written", we wrote it. Those superstitions only make our performance sound "bad" or "not good enough on a normal day". You create your own luck. It's not our fault that Bayern and Barcelona simply refuses to score goals, we can only do our job! And if we do our job and they don't, who deserves it? Easy choice in my opinion.

So much praise for Gary Neville. That's what a color commentator has to do: put things in perspective. When all that strange stuff started happening against Bayern he said "it must be written in the stars" and other comments like that.

He had the sense of the moment, to tell the audience what was happeing in the big picture.

That's why I had a lot of problem with the previews, not that the columnists picked Bayern over us but they just seemed to ignore the magic surrounding this team. Everyone was too X's and O'x and matchups on paper.

If you hadn't noticed, this year's Chelsea team defies common sense and all reason.

Comeback against Napoli, those epic wins against Barca, Messi miss, Torres' ridiculously theatric goal, then Bayern.

Call it fate, destiny, divine intervention, SOMETHING was there. And Gary Neville understood that narrative. I appreciate him for doing that.

Still numb........lost my voice......every time I watch Drogba's penalty, I still get goosebups !!! I thought at 45 years of age I'd seen it all with Chelsea, but last night topped everything. Dont think it will be repeated , but thank you Chelsea for everything....nuff said !

I think using the slogan "written in the stars" by the fans and media was a great psychological benefit to us. Chelsea, through sheer dogged determination, kept on finding ways to come from behind to win and that expression must have been repeating over and over in the heads of our opponents. By convincing them it's destiny, it gave our opponents a sense of helplessness. It took away the feeling from our opponents that they had any control or say in the matter, and that's a beautiful thing.

I am still in dreamland and still in the best football high I've ever had.

Watched the game at home, with only my first Chelsea jersey and my scarf as companions. But, strangely enough, just as the game started, all my nerves disappeared and I just knew, I saw, that whatever Bayern throw at us, it won't be enough, that we are the stronger, if not the better team, that tonight we will NOT be beaten, no matter what. I felt we were always going to equalize just as I felt Bayern would probably score in the minutes before they did. I thought we would win it in ET, but this way was even better.

When Mata missed, I kept repeating that the first team to miss usually wins; when Schweinsteiger missed, I couldn't believe the implications of it - Didier scores and we are there! - and I had to pace around my small room and repeat it to myself. When he stepped up, there was only one outcome. When he scored, I just collapsed on the floor and watched in disbelief - bliss is the best way I can put it. My mind empty of conflict, of thought, just pure, boundless pleasure and relief.

Who played how is unimportant. We were a force of nature last night and we won it, that's all that matters. My every footballing dream is fulfilled, every footballing dragon slayed and buried. There is nothing more I can ask of this team - Chelsea has given me everything.

The guy standing beside me last night cried on my shoulder at the end - big, heaving sobs.

I've never had an experience come close to last night. The funny thing was in the centre of the town after the match it was quieter than you would expect. I just think everyone was emotionally drained.

Just a brilliant night. Time to finally go to bed.

I don't mind saying that when Didier stepped up, I felt the tears well up in my eyes. I knew it was going in.

I love you all.

Same here, I had no idea who was taking out next pen and I was worried until I saw Drogs stroll up. I told my wife we've done it, it's going in.

Just finished watching the whole game again and the celebrations - noticed Roman Jr in tears after and very emotional like us all. He must be Chelsea through n through, bless him.
