December 5, 201312 yr Only 6 behind Henry in PL all time scorers. I would love it if he broke that record..love it. Now that's an interesting stat, would love for him to move above Henry if only to annoy the Gooners. Frank even now is more than capable of at least 10 league goals.
December 5, 201312 yr "Will Frank Lampard overtake Thierry Henry?" "Will Steven Gerrard overtake Darren Bent?" It's like the difference between Champions League and Europa League...
December 5, 201312 yr "Will Frank Lampard overtake Thierry Henry?" "Will Steven Gerrard overtake Darren Bent?" It's like the difference between Champions League and Europa League... a sunday kickabout on Hackney Marshes Fixed that for ya, Plokkers
December 5, 201312 yr Now that's an interesting stat, would love for him to move above Henry if only to annoy the Gooners. Frank even now is more than capable of at least 10 league goals. Gawd, I hope so! Sign him up for another season to make sure :-)
December 5, 201312 yr I feel like him only playing 45 minutes against Southampton helped him a lot. Rotating Lampard helps him and the club greatly, especially when we get performances like last night.
December 5, 201312 yr If Lamps does beat Henry's record then really should demonstrate what an incredible player he is. Its only Chelsea fans that love him..everyone else thinks hes overated. Incredible achievement.
December 6, 201312 yr Yeah, many other fans have a tendency to downplay the quality of our players. Lampard, Drogba, Terry, Cech, etc. It's annoying but what can ya do?
December 6, 201312 yr To be honest, I couldn't give a sh*t how much rival fans underrate our players. If, like Frank, they keep breaking records and bring home the silver then that's all that matters to me.
December 19, 201312 yr Has Frank been credited with the Sunderland goal or has it gone down as an own goal?
December 19, 201312 yr Author Has Frank been credited with the Sunderland goal or has it gone down as an own goal? Own goal
December 19, 201312 yr I thought Mata and Torres were suppose to be on Friday night live this week. That's a facebook think on the same day.
December 19, 201312 yr It probably was an own goal. He got to it first, but he rolled his foot over it and pretty much stopped the ball, only the defender coming in forced it into the goal.
December 19, 201312 yr I think the goal should be awarded to Lampard. The defender may have pushed it in in the end but Lampard was also still touching the ball when it was getting pushed in.
December 19, 201312 yr Its strange at times that dubious goal thing. Remember crouchs first ever goal for the dippers that took a ridiculous reflection and was given?
December 20, 201312 yr Its strange at times that dubious goal thing. Remember crouchs first ever goal for the dippers that took a ridiculous reflection and was given? Aye, one of the more ridiculous things I've seen that.
December 20, 201312 yr Own goal Well, seeing as all his goals are deflections (© tw@ts all over the internet, mainly Scousers) maybe they'll take a couple of hundred others off him.
December 20, 201312 yr 209. The Football League has confirmed the Chelsea goal scored at Sunderland on Tuesday was Frank Lampard’s and not an own goal.
December 20, 201312 yr Aye, one of the more ridiculous things I've seen that. If Crouch can have that goal then every deflected goal from that point onwards should be given to the player who took the shot. Edited December 20, 201312 yr by Scott Harris
December 20, 201312 yr sorry mucked up my last post. he's some way behind thierry henry. henry scored around 228 goals in the premier league alone. frank's tally for chelsea is in all competitions. could be right about gerrard and darren bent though
