I feel like him only playing 45 minutes against Southampton helped him a lot. Rotating Lampard helps him and the club greatly, especially when we get performances like last night.

If Lamps does beat Henry's record then really should demonstrate what an incredible player he is. Its only Chelsea fans that love him..everyone else thinks hes overated. Incredible achievement.

Yeah, many other fans have a tendency to downplay the quality of our players. Lampard, Drogba, Terry, Cech, etc. It's annoying but what can ya do? 

To be honest, I couldn't give a sh*t how much rival fans underrate our players.

 

If, like Frank, they keep breaking records and bring home the silver then that's all that matters to me.

That's a facebook think on the same day.

It probably was an own goal. He got to it first, but he rolled his foot over it and pretty much stopped the ball, only the defender coming in forced it into the goal.

I think the goal should be awarded to Lampard. The defender may have pushed it in in the end but Lampard was also still touching the ball when it was getting pushed in.

Aye, one of the more ridiculous things I've seen that.

 

 

If Crouch can have that goal then every deflected goal from that point onwards should be given to the player who took the shot.

sorry mucked up my last post. he's some way behind thierry henry. henry scored around 228 goals in the premier league alone. frank's tally for chelsea is in all competitions. could be right about gerrard and darren bent though
