If I didn't laugh about this i'd cry.

On the topic of his recent interview, I get the suspicion if he's already complaining about stuff now, once he leaves he's going to be talking all sorts of nonsense about the club.

He definitely will. He can't say anything about the fans though, but if he does I would genuinely be surprised.

Torres ... The day he moves on should be a massive lift for the whole Club ... Fans, players, tea lady ... I suspect all have grown very, very weary ... it Must be demoralising for every one coming to work every day thinking how undeserved his wages are ... In my job if u don't perform u are taken down the capability route to be sacked. In the real world he'd be gone ... Pronto!

Stunningly, Fernando has beaten Negredo to the the Spain squad.

Not sure what's stunning about that? One of them is a proven international striker who scores goals at that level and one of them is a decent striker who had a good first half of the season then faded dramatically.

Not sure why people are suprised Fernando big game Torres gets the nod :good2: no Torres no party for Spain. Llorente is a very good finisher but is very flatfooted and slow and he does not suit their short passing game and Negredo is at his best when played as one of two strikers. All the strikers they have picked are used to playing up front on their own and used to playing big games. I would take Spains strikers over Brazils Fred and some fat man called Hulk.

Torres is gonna be the top scorer at the World Cup, its pretty obvious. He will come on for the last 20 minutes get a couple of goals each match.

Fixed it for you, saying that Torres seems to do well for Spain, I'm more surprised that Villa got in ahead of Llorente

Yeah so when I clicked on this it took me right back to the first page, no way was I flicking through 400+ pages.

As someone said, it sounds like Torres wants to stay with us to prove a point. Prove what point? He's been trying to prove his point for three and a half years, he has never made it.

^ Reckon he is a victim of their possession philosophy, very handy player to have as a sub mind you and he was fantastic for them in the Euros.

Torres the "victim" how wonderfully fitting.

Fantastic in the euros? He was only picked to start against Ireland and Croatia and he was subbed early in the latter. Two of his 3 goals for the tournament came in the 4 - 0 win over the Irish. If that equates to fantastic he's obviously had a super fantastic season for us again this year and should get a new contract.

Reckon he's talking about Navas maybe?

Yeah, Ducavis was definitely referring to Navas. (That post by ChelseaBelle has appeared in between - wasn't there earlier.)

You'd think they'd keep one of the few out and out pacy players in the squad.

He was talking about navas you angry boy!

Nope, it's not wrong ... He's been the biggest waste of money in prem history and has destabilised this club since his arrival and has been directly or in-directly responsible for seeing some good real chelsea people leaving ...

This being said, he's not been worth the £50mil paid for him and hopefully he's gone this summer.
