I really like aguero but that tackle was disgusting, I want torres to be fired up, but not one part of me wished torres was so fired up, he puts in a challenge thats up there with roy Keane on haaland, possibly ending another pro's career, being sent off and getting a lengthy ban.

I know your a big aguero fan Just, but I dont you can make any excuses for that challenge. Even if it was on your favourite centre half! lol.

Oh for feck's sake take off the blue tinted specs and get a grip on reality!!! Roy Mental's "challenge" on Alf Inge Halaand was, (as admitted by Keane in his autobiography), pre-meditated. He planned to do it.

Aguero lunged in on............................ Luiz's arse!!! http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/sergio-aguero-two-footed-lunge-on-david-luiz/

Yes, it was studs up. Yes, he should have been sent off. But to compare it with one of the most shocking, reckless, sickening on-pitch assaults you will ever see. Yeah, right.

Scum of the highest order if he's not careful he will fail as a manager and get a job on ITV.

Maybe i'm just being over optimistic then.

Although if he continues to improve until the end of the season, is there any level of performance or tally of goals that would convince you he's worth keeping?

Unless he scores in every league game from now until the end of the season - no amount of goals can make up for not scoring in the League on a regular basis, his last goal in the League is in December another 800 minute goal drought in our most important competition and the few goals he scores are mostly against bottom half teams.

Fair enough although I was under the impression he's mostly played cup games since Ba came.

800 minutes is no small matter since December - For example Demba Ba's total is under 800 minutes since he joined.

Ok, after a long time and a game like today.

Time to shake our hands? And if you want ,have a meet before the next game we attend?

That exchange was from December last year mate so it is forgotten about as far as I am concerned, no hard feelings pal.

get a grip on reality mate? you think the sun shines out of aguero's arse! I very much doubt you givem torres a pat on the back when he recklessly got sent off against swansea last year, after putting us in front.

that tackle was the worst ive seen this season by a stretch. no attempt to play the ball, only trying to hurt luiz. if terry, cole and lampard had been on the pitch there would have been a flare up.

Aguero and luiz have clashed on a few occasions at international level, im not saying it was pre meditated, but I doubt he'd have put that challenge in on anyone else yesterday.

Just to chip in, I'd defo keep Torres, or welcome him at Spurs...

There's a gap between what he cost and what he's done this season, but given his poor start, Torres is still a 25+ goals a season fwd. His confidence is coming on in bounds and, as a neutral, his work rate impresses. The Ba/Torres pairing looked a threat yest.

25+ goals a season? he's played about 60 games this season and scored less than 20, with only 7 coming in the league. most of them have been against below oar opposition.

Got to credit the Chelsea fans for sticking by him though, we might moan on here about him, but at the games he still gets (almost) full support. id say on a Talent vs. Cheers basis, he gets more support than any other player in world football

His attitude has changed and your right it's been a positive impact.

Can't help thinking he's trying to put himself in the shop window or he may even have been told he can go.

Perhaps he's woken up to the fact he's a damn good footballer.

I gave up on him a few weeks ago but still dream of him scoring the odd vital goal.

He has scored circa 20 goals this season (let's forget only 6 have come from open play in the Prem and let's forget only 1 of those was against a top half side).

He has looked livelier these last 4 games.

If the club have any nous at all they will capitalise on this and get a fee for him.

Any kind of fee. Damage limitation is the name of the game here.

We may never get a better opportunity to offload him.

This is the chance Chelsea ..

Don't. F**k. It. Up.

He's finally starting to look like the player he used to be. If he keeps this up, why would u want him sold?

I'd agree he's not the Torres of Liverpool, but this is definitely by far the best form i have ever seen him in since he signed. Those commentators tonight were talking like they wanted to give him one, they always are.

Even if it's his personal best form since joining this club, it still is not good enough for leading the line in nearly every game for Chelsea.

Fuaaark! Torres actually looked class last night! Hangeeland couldn't cope with him! He skinned some of their players couldn't believe it. At one point he actually left two of their players flat footed and made it look easy, was tear worthy! Still his shooting is outrageously sh*te worse than Giroud!

You seem to love Torres. He had a good second half. First half he was terrible. The dribble he did at the beginning of the second half was quality.

How did you know? I thought he had a good game all around. It's exciting though because some of these things he does actually remind you of the old Torres. Uh oh he's said it. Well he's not back no but it's nice to see a striker of ours with confidence! Still he needs to stay back at have a lesson on finishing. Let's get Zola in!!
