Nothing to choose between Ramires and Mikel for me. Other than 15 minutes of the first half they, along with Oscar (who I thought was unfairly criticised on here for his first half performance) made sure Arsenal never got a hold of the middle of the park.

Particular mention for the effort and attitude of all the players today. Arsenal were rarely allowed to be comfortable in possession because every player chased them down and pressured them.

Mata for me, was instrumental to all our creative play. All played well but Ramires, Mikel & Torres who have been under performing in some games for me all did very well.

Mata for me, top drawer performance, completely ran the show and got a goal and an assist.

HMs to Ramires, Mikel and Torres, all worked their arses off and meant Arsenal got completely bossed in midfield. Very proud fan today.

Torres all day long for me. He looked lively throughout and never stopped putting a shift in. Mikel runner up - that's his best game this season.

Cech for me, with Mikel and Mata a close second/third.

Cech for me.

Pretty hard choice between Mata, Cech, the midfield two, and Torres. Almost went Cech for those two saves in the 2nd half but ended up going for Mata.

I might go for Souness for telling it like it is...Ramires just nicks it but Mikel and Oscar were top drawer for effort and sticking to the right plan.

Torres for me. Mikel was quality and Mata, hazard, Oscar and ramires grew into the game.

Petr's in the house, Cech it out, Cech it out.

Cech for me, would have been Mata but those saves won us the 3 points today.

Chose between Mikel and Cech and went with Mikel. He was great today. Cech made two game winning saves though.

Torres 100% no question.

I am not one of these people whi blindedly think Torres deserves all the praise for the smallest of things, but today he was brilliant.

Tackling, scoring, passing.

lost the ball once of twice but he had great drive and spirit. Honourable mentions to Mata, Ramires Mikel, Terry and Cech

Cech for me. No question at all.

Without his saves we don't get the three points. Lots of very good performances, but he was the difference maker.

Torn between Mata and Torres.

Went with Torres in the end.

Mikel kept it simple, distributed well and did all that was asked of him today. Mentions for Cech and Torres and for JT who despite his setback this week and being unable to train fully still put in his typical dare I say expected captains performance.

really tough one to call as it was such a 'team' performance...went with torres in the end because he had such a good all-round game...leading the line, helping defend, scored a key goal...but no problem whoever gets it...thoroughly professional performance

Mata for me.

Great team performance, Mikel looked solid, so did Rambo.

Hazard always tricky and is good at keeping the ball thats y he played the full 90.

Torres was extremely good, great instinctive goal and ran all game, his link up play with Juan Nd Eden is great to watch.

I honestly think everyone played well.

Special mention to our captain who after all the sh*t this week, all the booing and knowing everyone is watching to see a reaction, played like always, in control, in charge, solid, always comunicating with team mates and always a threat in the oppo box.

Chec for me, think he pulled of a few saves that only a few GK's in the entire world, with out chec we dont win that game

Mata. The maestro is the maestro and has been the whole season and the last. Brilliant little playmaker he is. 1 goal 1 assist from 2 goals.

Torres , Mata and Mikel were all immense and you can't look past Cech in goal but I have gone for Ramires - gutsy , ruthless , energetic and skillful in both offense and defense . If there was ever any doubt that he was better utilized centrally , there isn't any more . Great team performance though !
