4 goals in 2014...conceded

Guess who wasnt on the pitch. ....

People dont understand that hazard is playing the playmaker role the past few games

I don't see how you can blame Marko

I like Oscar alot but i don't see him as a number 10 never really have.Always wanted him to play deeper,in a 3 man midfield with Matic and Ramires i think he would be excellent.

Yeah. Initially I wasn't confident about the idea because of his lack of physicality but I feel he has more attributes of a BBM rather than an AM. But then we do we shift to AM? Hazard? I do feel he's more creative anyways.

Know that people say there's not much of a difference between him in a 4-3-3/4-3-2-1 and a 4-2-3-1 because e.g. of how often he tends to drop deep but if he was to spend more of his game there I think it'd benefit us. Perhaps him with Luiz and Matic in a 4-3-3 might not be a bad shout. Then we'll have Hazard/Schurrle or whoever as the wingers.

Do people actually think he plays in the final third the whole game?

Cant you guys see the huge difference having oscar on our team is compare to last season?

We dont hoof the ball up everytime now.

We have midfield help for our cms.

And we have the middle defended well.

Mourinho doesnt give Oscar the mata role...  Oscar is the one who is the key to our defensive presence (alongside JT)...

You guys seem to forget that Willian prior to coming to Chelsea was view as a "creative" player, yet somehow he is not creative on Chelsea...  It all has to go with how Mourinho plays his players...  Willian and Oscar are both not used as the n10 right now...

Hazard is the n10 these past few games, not Oscar/ Willian...

Despite all of this. I still can't actually work out what the point is that you are trying to get across.

Point is oscar role for chelsea under mourinho is not the same role Mata had under rafa...

People really need to understand this and than you can move forward with the team and Chelsea...

Well that much is obvious. Mata had a free role, with little defensive responsibility. Oscar has less of a free role and more defensive responsibility. You're not telling us anything ground breaking here..

Before the Everton game Jose told Oscar is fatigued and still he decided to start him. He was absolutely awful and subbed half time. After the game Jose told Oscar had an injury and couldn't cope with the pain. I think Oscar isn't really injured it was just a cover up for the unfortunate form. Lets see if he is available for the next match.

I can understand fatigue since the guy hardly gets a break between us and Brazil.  He has a world cup this summer too.  Something isn't right with him in any case and he should be dropped for a few matches.  I'd move Hazard or Willian to the middle and make more use of Schurrle and Salah.  Willian can provide the same industry Oscar can.

Since July 2012 he's played 127 games for us and Brazil. No wonder he looks knackered.

That's under a game every 5 days over the year and half period. Absolute madness. I feel a bit for him as he could be getting run into the ground. Luckily we seem to have such a great medical team.

Perhaps from now until the end of the season we should only play him once a week

Add in mental fatigue aswell. The expectation is sky high for him to lead us and Brazil to success. Especially the latter.

With physical fatigue, it can have a spiralling effect as he might feel he needs some rest, but everybody around him is putting pressure on him asserting how much THEY need him. It can create disillusionment as he may being pushed too hard against his physical cabilities.

It is probably not this extreme, but these are factors that need to be considered. He is considered one of the most important player for a team expected by a lot of people to win the league, and by even more to win the World Cup. It can get to a lot of people

Can't help but feel he should have been properly managed then if that's the case. Not much that could have been done in previous seasons, we had no one else really. Coming into this season we had KDB and Schurrle to take the burden off.

He hasn't really performed for a while now. He isn't a chance creator like Mata was.

His play in the final third of the pitch is abysmall, that includes ball control, passing and dribbeling.

Here we go, a player who has been one of our most important has hit a dip in form and he's suddenly got no ball control and can't pass or dribble.

We're talking about one of our most talented players here who has been given an extra workload this season under Jose and for the most of it has been one of our stand out performers.

I'm sure a bit of rest is all he needs and if he wasn't such a special player he'd be getting that, Jose knows hes a reliable performer and even though he's been singled out for under performing on a few occasions he has really only had two real poor games.

Some of his attacking threat has been blunted with the extra responsibility Jose has put on him but he's still scored his share.

What a complete load of old tosh.

I'd say I am a little shocked about the way a player who is clearly suffering from fatigue is all of a sudden not good enough to play number 10 for us...

He is a superb player who is on a bit of a doner in terms of form right now, also he is only 23 years old...

you people want blood from stones

Imo he is over-rated by a ton of Chelsea fans. Apart from the first months of this season he hasn't impressed me at all.

I just fail to see whatever it is that he brings to our team. His defensive work has dropped as well. It just seems his overall work has dropped, and so has his overall performance.

I've said this before but here it goes anyway:

His Brazilian teammates call him a little genius. Jose chose him to build his squad around even when we had one of the best in the world in that position. If you consider nothing else, that alone should make you think twice.

He is an extremely well-rounded footballer and he is excellent in many areas. But of course it is easy to put him down when he's gone off the boil. And never forget that he's just a youngster in only in his second season in Europe. He still has much growing to do.

So you weren't impressed last season at all? Bear in mind Jose mourinho has so much faith in him he sold Juan mata.

Brazil's NO 10 and still a young player adapting to playing in the Premiership in a newly organised side with Jose demanding an all action game- give the kid a break -.he will be our diamond along with Hazard for years to come - quality !!!
