Scott Harris Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Bertrand, i thought he looked the most dangerous of our players. Defense played fairly well today and were the only ones that looked a threat for us. Not a great game, but i'll take an ugly win right now.

Xfaxtor Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 I thought Ivanovic had an brilliant game. For as much as Ive been on his case this year for poor play in general Ill give him MoM. Hardly put a foot wrong, won some key challenges and got the winning goal. His best game of the season imo.

Our CB's are all playing well at the moment, particularly Luiz who has been in great form for the past month or so. It's a toss up between those two but as Luiz appears to be running away with it, I'll go with Branners.

Mikel did ok like he normally does against opposition like this but went missing when we needed him most in the last 10 mins. A special word on Torres though, his introduction seemed to lift the team and bizarrely the crowd too. Keep him masked.

mad_mac Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Went for Ivan on this one as I felt he was solid throughout. Luiz had a great game and i love the way he plays with passion; however, he did let a couple of players get past him far too easily. After Ivan, it's...Luiz, Mikel, Bertrand and Zorres.
