Personally now Remy is signed think Salah is the one who could have done with a PL loan move.

I think we need him for back up though, lose him and we weaken options out wide

Will be good for him and us - needs playing time in a top league. We'll get a good look at him and see if he can be a solid squad player for next season.

Wouldn't say dire, they just all had a poor run of form at the same time. He's got more bodies to get through (Poli, Montolivo, Honda, possibly Essien and that young Italian guy) to get into the team there than he does here (Fabregas and Ramires, both of which can be moved around to get MVG into the team).

Also neither Honda nor Poli are all that great and Essien is Essien. Also Honda is a playmaker, not a box-to-box midfielder.

The loan will do him good. From what i saw in pre season he's definitely chelsea calibre

Only bad thing about this loan deal is that in kind of forces me to also start following that dire Italian league.

 

Really hope van Ginkel does well so that we can see him in blue next season.

I have a feeling that this loan will make him into a superstar.  Imagine him next to Matic with Oscar, Fabregas, Hazard and Costa in attack.  That's a scary ass team.

On a side note, WHY THE HELL DOES HE LOOK LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER?!?!

Sky Sports have just confirmed that Van Ginkel's loan move to AC Milan is complete.

I said last season that we would see him go on loan this season. He had a big injury last year and needs game time to build himself back up. I was a little surprised that he went to Milan. I thought it would be a Premier league team or maybe back to Holland for a season. Milan are a big team still and I think his time there will do him some good. Im not sure he will ever really make it with us. He seems like a back up player for us or a starter for a mid table team.

What are the odds on him getting games there? I know they aren't what they used to be but thinking about Wallace at Inter last season, it was a disaster wasn't it?

 

Difficult to pitch it with loan players. AC Milan seem too big, the Dutch clubs seem a bit too small. The German clubs seem to be about right with a decent of standard of football and big stadiums with good atmospheres.

I don't know but Milan seemed pretty desperate to get it done. They really wanted him so I'm guessing he will start games.

Why did Marco have to convince himself I wonder? Determination to prove himself here or does he just not like pasta?

Maybe poor translation? Might have meant to put he was convinced he wanted to go to Milan.
