Not even gonna mention Mikel. I myself have complained about Oscar and Ivan but I don't dislike them which this seems to be about. Ivan has been a fine servant but his time is up, for me there is a difference complaining about a players performance than consistently belittling a player when they are in fine form (Pedro for example).

I don't have any player at this club that "I can't stand" That's bizarre to me, we are supporters...we support our players Pedro isn't a Cuadrado who offered very little to the club in his brief time here...he has been here for a bit now and has helped up to the top of the table...I don't get why someone couldn't stand him. Surprising that you find it "bizarre" and yet find time to critisize a player who played 300 odd minutes for us ,mostly as a substitute. Also who is belittling Pedro? I think he is playing great and much better than I ever expected. I simply dont think he is starting material chelsea player. And not without reason. Even while playing well, the last 2 games, his ball control sometimes is absolutely shocking. His saving grace is generally the final 3rd, but I would still take willian's overall gameplay over pedro any day of the week. But how did you get to "belittling" from anything that I wrote today (as i just read your last post). Do you time and again have to put words in other people's mouth? I criticised his performances which were poor. You have been on Pedro's case ever since he signed and posted missing when he was our best player. You had plenty negative to say in his thread yet very little to say when he done well. That's strange.... Edited December 16, 20169 yr by Chelsbear

A level of quality and sanity to his posts and talks and debates. My mistake I even replied you, since most of the time, you are just... welll... meh..
December 16, 20169 yr I'm not the one to hit out with comments that "I can't stand" one of our players. Don't quote or reply to me then, rather simple.

I did not, you did. I simply quoted RIPMourinho on what seemed a very out of his character post. As for your claims about Pedro, I have given you a link. But yes I am sure, you never go OTT on your criticism. well not everyone can be perfect, right!!!

December 17, 20169 yr Willian and Pedro are swapping positions and at the moment, i don't think either of them are doing enough though. Pedro is certainly on top at the moment with his form but that has dipped in recent games and Willian hasn't got going all season. This is understandable though after what he has been through. I think in the long run we need to seriously consider improving that position. For me, that is our weakest area on the pitch. Our attacks break down far too often on our right.
December 17, 20169 yr Willian is frustrating to watch, he has the pace to run past players, but 95% of the time he will either dribble in the wrong direction, or stop for several seconds to ponder on his next move, then make a safe pass backwards. He seems to have no idea what to do in the final third, atleast when he is the one with the ball. In 4-2-3-1 his workrate at times would cover for his lack of creativity and vision, but in our new formation we have more defensive cover and the front three is expected to create and score goals. Watching Hazard and Willian in the final third is such a huge contrast, Hazards distribution is excellent, he is direct and always a huge threat when he is close to the oposition goal. The latest games when I have watch Willian, I feel he contributes very little, exception beeing the goal he scored against City. For me we could do alot better in that position.
December 17, 20169 yr I get that Willian's end product at times is lacking but he's a very good player and one that's important to have as part of the squad. I do think he lacks what I'd call a football brain but your need these hard workers as part of your team. Some people seem to think everyone should be a flair player. I also think some people don't consider what you need in a squad.

With Kante, Matic, hardworking wingbacks and three central defenders we need alteast two creative players. It's not like Willian is that great with his pressing either, I actually prefer Pedros way of putting pressure on defenders. When Hazard was out against Sunderland we struggled alot with our attacking play. Sunderland was probably one of the weakest teams we have played as well, there were lots of space to exploit at times.

Willian offers something different, let's not forget he's had a disruptive season thus far aswell. Edited December 17, 20169 yr by Bobbywoodhogan
December 31, 20169 yr bet his goals per minute ratio since we changed formation has gone right up too. interesting for people who obsess about those sort of stats.
January 1, 20179 yr Very good player, quick feet and great turn of pace.He can get even better and will. The loss of his mother has been devastating and i am not surprised.I still have my mum (she is 90 ) and she means the world to me.And i LOVE the song.
January 1, 20179 yr He's arguably finished more clinically this season than he has previously. Two very well taken goals. He lacks Pedro's movement, but he's quicker than Pedro and so he's incredibly dangerous on the counter. I think Stoke were more attacking than many of us expected, which played right into Willian's hands.
January 1, 20179 yr Have always liked Willian and think he is vastly underrated by many on here. In contrast, as an example, I think Kevin De Bruyne is hugely overrated and only has one decent game in ten, and yesterday against Liverpool he was an irrelevance again. Apparently De Bruyne hasn't scored a goal in the EPL since September. Yet, I bet many Chelsea fans would swap Willian for De Bruyne. That's mad.

I think Willian is an easy scapegoat for many in here when something goes wrong. Scored in every other game he's started this season(5 in 10) and some people still want to compare him with the likes of fecking Lingard. Brilliant player.

Of course they would swap KDB for Willian, it would be mad not too. KDB is a top player. Just because someone has some off games he is suddenly useless. I have seen many times KDB consistently do it over a number of games. Hazard had an awful whole season last year, would we all think he is suddenly s***?
