Chelsea Wages Database

Interesting because a lot of US sites run pages such as these in part because of salary cap issues, seems tougher in the European world where figures are not easily disclosed.

How's this different from the random figures thrown around in newspapers?

http://www.weaintgotnohistory.com WAGNH is actually quite a reliable site. Probably not 100% accurate but for entertainment purposes it serves a use.

Looks like crap. No one can get a decent transfer out of us now suddenly they have access to all the players wages? This is a compilation of guesses.

this time its in a form of a spreadsheet

Alex was on £100k a week?

The Special Juan needs a new contract to ensure his pay is in line with other squad members who have a similar role to him.

Oh I can top that:

Yossi Benayoun - £80,000

Really? Holy sh*t

Just a thought, if someone went snooping around trying to find out what I earned and discussing the merits of any figures they come up with - even if they argued that they were a shareholder, I'd be well pissed off because the only person who's business it is or who has to justify your value is the management team that are paying it.  Even if any number quoted on that were accurate it's not up to us to guess at why one player is worth a bigger basic salary than the next.  I know being high profile makes them more suseptible to this type of thing I just don't understand the need for every tom, dic and harry to know the ins and outs of anyone remotely famous.

Where are you seeing that? It says Brana is on Â£65,000 a week

Looks like it was changed cos last night it definitely said he was on 28000.

A) Absalout load of bolox!!

b) I really don't underandtand the problem with Benhayoum, he seemed to do his best every time he played, if his best wasn't good enough then it wasn't good enough but when ever I watched him play he didn't lack effort. He has moved on now, it's one that didn't work out. Don't understand the hostility

I'm not sure where these figures came from but given the level of detail I'm inclined to think there is a degree of truth in them.

Rather than getting in to the "who's earning what" debate, I think it's rather more interesting from a FFP point of view, which seems to be the purpose of the exercise in the first place.

There seems to be some missing information for 12-13 but it looks like we will comfortably meet the requirements.

Take a look at the injury-time Reading equalizer in the 2-2 last season. If I was manager I would never have selected him again after that - it was beyond belief. But the FSW saw fit to use him after that toward the end of games when we were hanging on, preferring to throw him on ahead of Lamps or JT.

As a creative impact player who could make things happen, I actually rated him at WHU and Liverpool, and was quite pleased when we bought him to replace Joe Cole. I know he was badly injured early on, but I can't think of a single occasion where he played well for us.

I was just naturally inclined to think he was a c**t.

Here's the clip. YB is on the edge of the box doing sweet FA as we defend the last move of the match, a hit-and-hope free kick by their keeper.

Take it with a grain of salt.

I don't see how these figures are realistic or even obtainable--someone probably just guesstimated or looked through FIFA/FM.
