Chippy Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Matic for me, he's slotted in so well and when the boys are not looking on song his presence is so reassuring.
BellettiBullet Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Eto'o for me. Scored the first and won the penalty and put in a very decent shift. HM to the other scorers Hazard and Ba. Well played, lads.
robdog Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Mods could we get an entry for the spudz defense in the poll? I think they helped to contribute for all of the CFC goals. Thanks
2211 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Eto'o for me - was alive to any Tottenham mistakes, and there were plenty.
Phillip Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 I chose Hazard - I guess I am the only one. Eto'o would have been my third choice, behind Matic.
Scott Harris Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Terry, he looked in complete control as usual. Him and Cahill dealt with Adebayor easily.
londonblue Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 (edited) Although we won 4-0 no one really stood out but I voted Eto'o purely because he altered the outcome of the match in just 3 minutes Edited March 8, 2014 by londonblue
mickydroysleftpeg Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Half Time. Again proved to be a real game changer. As with Jose's first spell there seems to be a lot of games where getting through a tedious first half without conceding seems to be the main aim before cranking up the heat at half time. I do wish we would be a bit more positive early in games, but 7 points clear I suppose Jose might know more than me. Great win
mad_mac Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Thought Azpi was fantastic again. I also noticed that he's gone into the LB position for his national team now too
barak81 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Matic for me... made sure that even when thing weren't going our way we never got in to any serious trouble
goose Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Going to go with Eto'o for this one because of his involvement in the first two goals. Other good performances but JT, Cahill and Matic. BTW was it Terry that give that fantastic first time through ball to hazard leading up to the pen for our second goal.
Jonty Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Eto'o. Matic was fantastic in breaking up play but the reason I didn't pick him was because I felt he was culpable for a lot of our poor use of possession in the first half.

He'd be a better ball distributor in the England midfield than Tom Cleverly, thats for sure.
Phillip Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Cahill made one horrible pass in the first half which should have resulted in Bentaleb scoring for the Spurs. T Other than that huge gaffe, he was good
FLYMJ Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Thought Azpi was fantastic again. I also noticed that he's gone into the LB position for his national team now too He played RB in there last match vs Italy
