those ways to get stones that BD put up there makes sense too - I wasn't drinking water or very little due to training - also I was sweating a lot - then add the fact I was eating MREs (grunt food), I know I wasn't getting the proper hydration - then to top it all off, I wasn't relieving myself properly - I was in a leadership position & I had make sure I had accountability & discipline in my men - in the end I paid dearly for my failures

I quit & grew dreadlocks ;) - also I wrote for SoccerAge.com which later became goal.com

That sounds like the best career move ever :-)

 

well it gave me greater access to the game I loved - I was able to get a press pass for any event, but it didn't pay the bills. I had to cut off my dreads & get a real job in the end ;)

Can i ask why? i feel like the only time this guy is useful these days is when he plays out wide and has to do a job on a good attacking fullback.

Seconded. Hes best suited agsinst teams who are ambitious and when he plays in the middle I constantly forget hes even on the pitch

Ramires is an odd one, feels over the seasons he's gone from average to amazing to poor to average again.

I personally think he's poor wide, especially as a quasi RW. Funny thing is he lived on his 2012 form in my mind for a

good but now that's run out. Not good enough for us as a world class option IMO.

I don't care how he plays anymore he's one of the reason we won a champions league

I get your point completely but we have to think about the future and improving the consistency and quality of the squad.

Love his energy, tenacity, speed and tackling. Was instrumental in the CL winning run, and also scored in the FA Cup Final. But, those moments of magic don't seem to happen any more. And Ramires' passing ability is truly shocking for a Brazilian CM. Happy to have him in the squad for now, he does give us options, but I feel he could be replaced quite easily. It can't be that hard to find a CM that can run and also pass the ball efficiently.

That miss was so typical Ramires. He struggles with even the most basic concepts of football, but has the ability to absolutely drill it through the net from 30 yards out with his less preferred foot. His lack of consistency is absolutely maddening

Mourinho can react however he likes. he is to blame! His love for brainless footballers is going to cost chelsea. I dont understand his fascination with Ramires. I dont get it! You are such a knob, to despise any person based on their ability as a footballer is moronic, especially when they were a part of a huge success for the club & have never once complained in public when not in the team.

Is Rami our most gifted player? Certainly not, is he our worst? Definitely not. He's never going to be Cesc or Hazard, but in certain situations he's a very useful squad member to have.

I think we could improve our backups in CM instead of him and Mikel, but to say you despise him with every fibre of your being, is sad and a little pathetic.

you despise a footballer because hes not very good in your opinion? That says more about you than anything else you strange little man.

The lad is working on the pitch, adds energy to the counter attacks, good in tackles and plays more than one position. He's exactly what we need as a squad member, he had few poor performances last season but it doesn't make him a bad player.
