I think Carlo was harshly done by, however he has shown similar problems to what he found here, lack of a plan b.

I do think in both situations though he should have been given another year to turn things round as he has already proven he can win trophies wherever he goes.

Formation wasn't really the problem as we saw in the second half when the City players decided to turn up.
