I could see this happen, in FM. He's out for a few games, now he's linked with just about every club in England.

Anyone saying they wouldnt want him are crazy. He is better than our current AM's in terms of goals. Hazard is good, very good but he doesnt score anywhere near enough.

Anyway today they are saying that the transfer fee would be 90 million! There is no way on earth Chelsea will pay that and then on top his wages would probably break our current highest.

This deal just wont happen.

Have always rated extremely highly since I first saw him play. Wanted us to buy him from Southampton. Wanted us to buy him from Tottenham.

 

Practically has it all IMO. Pace, strength, skill, vision, work rate and intelligence.

 

Personally I think he is better than Hazard. Bale can finish.

Yeah I'd rate Bale above Hazard, that's why Madrid won't be selling him.

He's got it all and his best years are still ahead of him, there's no chance they will be selling him.

The time has came and gone on Bale.

I dont mind admitting I thought he was just a knock and run merchant, and in fairness he used to be. But he hasnt half added to his game in the past 18 months or so, and is now an outstanding player who would add to pretty much any team. Is he better than Hazard? I dont think so as they are different types of player. Hazard is much more tricky with bursts of pace, Bale is power and speed in much the same way Ronaldo is. He has tricks but doesnt rely on them as much as Hazard needs to..

I definitely rate Bale over Hazard in current status. However, there are some amazing attributes that one possesses and the other doesn't, and most likely wont ever have, and vice versa.

If I was to choose between Hazard and Bale now I would choose Bale every day of the week.

Hazard may become better than Bale, lets hope so. But Bale has everything in his locker, and he clearly has an eye for goal that is vastly superior to Eden.

The only way this could possibly happen is if Hazard was going the other direction, and I think Hazard has a higher ceiling to be honest.

Yeah we can. We did 50 for Torres. But we've learned and I doubt we'd want to splash out that much again.

Not much to add that hasn't already been said. 

 

2nd best winger in the world after Ronaldo, might not be as flashy as other wingers but he's far more effective and I've always preferred substance over style. 

Just imagine if did sign Bale and Reus, our attack would be the best in the world.

Bale would be an absolutely awesome signing and would make our attack truly terrifying. Hazard Oscar Bale in behind Costa…wow. I can't see how we could afford it/justify it though from an FFP perspective. RM would surely look to sell at about £100m, even over a huge 6 year contract Bale would cost us £16+ million a season in FFP terms.

 

I can't see Bale wanting to leave though. Real Madrid are the club he's always wanted to play for. And I don't see RM wanting to sell him either. Sure, Isco is playing well in Bale's absence but there's no doubt they are a better side with Bale in the team rather than Isco (who, in fairness, is a very fine player in his own right).
