Zouma for me, just because I think he had an excellent game and there werent that many to choose from. Could have gone Matic but thought Zouma handled himself very well

Nobody stood out and nobody was particularly poor either. Gone for Zouma who was pretty much faultless and make a couple of excellent tackles.

 

Edit: actually, Branna was pretty poor. Can't be overly critical of anyone though considering the 120 mins on Tuesday.

Ramires for me. Made things happen in an otherwise lackluster attacking performance from us, also pretty solid defensively as well.

Zouma for me,at 20 he looks a gem.

Zouma, I can see why Frank Lebœuf called him the next Desailly, for a young man he is so assured.

Willian like the duracell bunny keeps going when others have flagged.

Zouma, he was excellent. Cahill will really struggle to regain his regular starting place. Willian also worth a mention.

Thought Willian, Hazard and Remy were all good in the first half but all faded in the second 45.

 

Zouma MOTM for me. Showed great maturity for a player of such tender years. I like Cahill, but I think he must be worried right now.

If we get Varane in we could have another French CB pairing for the future.

I thought Matic was a beast again - then to think about it there was no Yaya so maybe it was a bit too easy for him

Zouma for me, Cahill should struggle to get back into the team after the performances he's putting in.

I thought Matic was awful. He took too long to get the ball moving and lost the ball 4 or 5 times in our area too.

Zouma was the stand out for me. Don't want to get too carried away too early but I see Desailly similarities. It's his strenght and no nonsense approach that I love and he can play a bit too.

Good performances also from Willian, Matic, Ramires, Remy.

What about his stops? Do those not count? What about him winning the ball during Man City's breaks? Those don't count? This is subjective poll & my opinion I can have that right?
