Had a feeling it wouldn't be are night... There isnt a lot between the two teams and the 10 man thing is a bit of a red hearing..

We 100% did not create enough chances today,the fact the tbo was out best player says it all. Games like this make me realise how good a play Frank Lampard was, world class can't be said enough, it's that kind of player we missed tonight..

When was our last genuinely good performance?

Last one I remember was Swansea in January. It's a bit worrying going forward.

Well, that was poor.  Never really knew we had the man advantage, too slow in the final third as always, and TBH that was not the game to bring Didier on....what were we trying to do there, give him a birthday present?

Well that wasn't great was it. Where was our passion and determination? We looked knackered after 30 mins, never looked like we were playing against 10 men at all, except perhaps end of first half.

Didnt deserve to win tonight, we really could do with all our players being a little less complacent and actually giving a f**k.

Time to get pi**ed and numb the feeling, then move on, hopefully two trophy's at the end of the season will feel good, I'm not defending the performance at all, but we can't win them all, nothing to do now but focus on the league.

Tough game to swallow but Mou shud have kept going for more when he had a chance

Well....an anemic, complacent, completely underwhelming performance from us & extremely worrying for the rest of the season. PSG much the better team on the night - inventive, energetic & never stopped playing their football far the better team over the two games & deservedly go through.

Can't argue with that. This was our worst game of the season and the culmination of a long series of average games since we won away at Swansea. We really don't deserve to be through after that performance.

 

I'm not really that mad - they we were better than us and did themselves proud. We have no excude if we don't win the league now.

 

Ugly games and PSG have fallen a lot in my estimation. In particular, David Luiz and (I am asorry to say this) Diego Costa.

Jose up to some blame but at the same time if we'd pressed on higher Cavani and Lavezzi would have ripped JT on the counter as Monaco did to Mertesacker last week, when we have a 34 year old in defence we need to play deeper to accommodate him and against 10 men this favoured PSG.

 

Also no idea where he went for Silva's 2 headers.

Thats one of the most gutless performance i can remember....first Bradford and now this against TEN MEN.

Regardless of this performance, we are one of the top clubs in Europe. We will only get stronger next year.

I don't mind losing but when you have lazy players not giving the effort it's unacceptable and I hope Jose tells it like it is instead of trying to defend these players tonight.

Gutless is not something I associate with Chelsea FC but make no mistake about it our performance out there tonight was just that.

Just finished watching in the office. We were poorest of poor at home. Looking at the talent that we have I just could not believe it ...we just looked so slow and less desire to win. Too many games and same team probably took the toll.

Jose needs to take some blame here as well, was screaming for everyone to get back for large portions of the second half and made subs that invited more pressure on us. Shambolic performance all around sans Courtois

It's not a distraction. We are Chelsea, we have the squad and resources to be competing in this and the league at the same time.

Absolutely pedestrian performance and a well deserved win by 10 man PSG.

 

Worst we have played in a long long time.

Well that is that for another year, worst performance from us in some time and a worrying performance too.

 

Our midfield is fading more and more as the season is going on. Willian, Ramires and Oscar are offering nothing and it's down to Fabregas and Hazard to do everything. The midfield aren't holding the ball, they aren't creating and they certainly ain't scoring. The defenders are contributing more to the attack than the majority of the midfield of late. Matic, Fabregas and Hazard are top players, the rest are so far off them right now.

 

Diego Costa is another that has faded badly, needs to stop with the temper and work on his footballing ability because right now he is doing very little going forward.

 

English teams in Europe have been awful of late, and we have now just joined them.

We are by no means close to the finished article, our back up options are severely lacking in quality when our first 11 ain't at it

Jose has to take responsibility for that. He hasn't trusted his second string enough, never given them enough games. Appalling that he trusts the soon-to-be-retiring Drogba more than Remy. It's been coming some time now. The team looks so f**king tired already and we had a full week to prepare. The league title too looks a long way off at this rate.

We had everything going in our favour ... Early sending off, penalty in ET ... yet throughout the Team was below par and pedestrian ... Rambo very, very poor ... Oscar off the pace, etc. ... Best Team went thro' ... well done PSG.
