hope we are not just rolling over on this one and pandering to cech's wishes. Really want us to get something from arsenal for this, or make them pay well over the odds. 

 

Cech himself might not be enough to get them where they need to be but he is a major major piece in the puzzle. If they sort their CM and CBs out then they are unquestionably contenders for next season.

Who knows. This Gabriel paulista could turn out to be a good purchase for them. And koscielny is a decent CB. They were closer this year, I think they'll be closer again next year if they can strengthen where they actually need it

Just read arsenal have agreed a fee with fenbanche for Ospina according to reports in Turkey looking more likely Cech is going I just hope we get some one in return still

Yep, eventually us letting our best players and legends join rivals is going to come back to haunt us. I do wonder why we keep doing them favours, if it was the other way around they wouldn't allow their players to join us.

That's a shame. I said a while back that it was a possibility but that I thought he might stick around and try to make Courtois the best in the world. Thing is him and Cech are close and if Arsenal's coach is leaving then that confirms it for me.

 

Wonder who we get in if he leaves. Beeney could be promoted or Silvino Louro could go back to coaching keepers, or maybe we look elsewhere.

Its looking like happening and despite it not being good business its sanctioned by RA, who while he is a top business

matey in aluminium, oil and gas etc. etc. is we all know not such a top one at footy (no disrespect for all he has brought

to Chelsea but he wrote off a billion quid along the way getting the club to its esteemed current position).

He obviously values loyalty and his relationship with Cech above any other considerations -

especially those we all have about strengthening those billy hunts at the camel dome.

 

think Jose was just trying to shine a light on how unreasonable the gooners will / are being when he wants one of 

theirs, in this case the Ox.  don't think it will sway Roman or the board (who lets face it do his bidding) and unfortunately

we'll all have to live with it and a new back up keeper who wont be able to hold a candle to Cech.

 

But all is not lost we have young Tibo who will only get better.

Will be disappointing business if we give Arsenal everything they want and Jose nothing in return.

 

It is more of a concern that this could start to show cracks in their relationship again. Did not take long when Jose and Roman started to disagree the first time and Jose was gone. I hope this does not bring that about again.

 

Is clear if this happens Roman has gone against his managers wishes for the team and that is a dangerous game.

 

A gamble by Roman, hope we are all not left regretting it.

They wouldn't sell, he wouldn't leave.

Take a £10m hit and make them wait another year, then he will get a better pay deal with them as he will be a free agent, and we get the best back up keeper you could wish for another season.
