Chelsea have the least passionate fans of all Premier League clubs on Twitter, new study shows

Featured Replies

The whole premise of this study is pointless - it seems to be:

'number of tweets about club / number of followers = passion'

The big clubs will have loads of followers who don't tweet - and I'm sure there are thousands of people around the world who follow all of the big clubs.

The reason clubs like Burnley are at the top, is because they're more likely to have their actual fan base following them and tweeting about them because why else would you follow and tweet about Burnley unless you were a Burnley fan?

It's a stupid study leading to stupid results and lending no new insight.

Christ, people get paid to write bollocks like this yes? Where do I sign up?

Study shows most teddybears in my nieces room are blue. Therefore, we can conclude that not only the manufacturers feel very passionate about our club, so do little girls. To add to that, the bears all look happy being blue, so those are all good signs.

So delued twitter accounts = passion lol. We don't need to talk sh*t on twitter to be our self's up we let our throphys do the talking. Just another article to try make us look bad. As blue daze said we're to busy celebrate.

The age of social media, i guess. people will judge a person on how many "Likes" they have, or how many friends/followers they have on Facebook or Twitter - pathetic state of affairs, and probably why a lot of people are socially retarded.

People might have over 500 fans on Facebook but still sit at home on a Saturday night alone

Chelsea have less internet trolls than any other team then....happy days.

In all seriousness, this is true...too busy batting away sh*te from all the bitters to be giving any ourselves. :-D

Yea, rival fans post some of the stupidest things on twitter, which means they're passionate, sure. I'm glad some of our fans don't post trash online, the study actually fails at making us look bad and somehow manages to make us look better.

What's Twitter?

Think my kids use it!

Its one of them cringey social networking sites where everyone pretends their sh*t lives are great and important.
