Arsenal met their season objective again, they will be drawn against one of the big teams and have the same story. The Europa league is looking petty interesting, you got United/Porto/Valencia/Spurs. It will do us a bit of favour in the league as there are 3 (or 4) English teams that will play Thursday night football.

According to "old reliable" wikipedia that seems to be the case. Transfermarkt.com seems to agree as well...

Good to see arsenal get through to their final again, consistently coming 2nd in the group and knocked out in the last 16 is well worth the £8m a year Wenger gets.

Mata was knocked out of the group stages with us months after winning it

And then had to suffer the indignity of playing under Rafa Benitez. This is small potatoes in comparison.

Walcott reckon Arsenal could beat anyone in the CL  after their great escape. You got laugh at that, there's one thing about being confident, the other is completely cock and stupid. Had Bayern decided to gift a point to the Greek team 2 weeks earlier, yesterday wouldn't even matter. You wonder how serious his injuries are, after Klopp essentially called him a pussy, mentioning that he has to know the difference between minor and extreme pain.
