I'd be shocked if Roman doesn't act soon

I don't want it to happen but the writing is on the wall here, poor results...no reactions and repeat.

Something is horribly wrong in the dressing room and it's been clear since pre season the players hearts are not in it. Why? Who knows but the staff fallouts are looking more and more worrying.

This isn't Chelsea, this is dire.

Azpilicueta, the only defender in our team who is cool, blocks, tackles and never panics.

 

Imagine how good he'd be if played in the right position!!!

Well another disappointing result. It's getting really tiring

I do not want to see anything like "dominated" "fake result" "better side X half"  "officials cost us" or any of that sh*t from Jose

Another game, another defeat and another very poor performance. The way we are now is very worrying, it's more than just a blip, the players just aren't with it at all.

 

Drastic changes must be made. Terry must return, we are missing his leadership and positional play. Ivanovic just must be dropped, how many more times is that going to be said until it actually happens ? it's f**king me off now.

 

Midfield needs to be changed completely. The formation isn't working for them, Fabregas is so bad right now, and we are losing the ball so damn easily. As soon as we pick it up in midfield, we are closed down in seconds and then end up losing the ball.

 

The strikers are getting zero support and they are being made to do too much work on their own. I though Costa was pretty decent at times tonight, but the midfield let him down.

 

Change the formation, style and the correct players Mourinho before it's too late.

At least shift him to CB. He is not a RB.

On Saturday, Azpilicueta must start at RB with Cahill and Terry as the CB's and Rahman at LB. Ivanovic should be dropped completely and Papy must be given a chance. Fabregas must also be dropped for RLC, while Matic should be on a final warning as he has been simply not good enough 

We will probably make it through but in general we are not anything like last season and Jose could be gone very soon sadly

Not a chance Roman fires Jose.  Would cost a rumoured 70 odd million euros payout based on his new deal i read somewhere.  Not happening.

 

Jose would have to walk, and i hope he doesnt, but Ivanovic can sit out some games

I'd take a draw, that's how bad we are.

Losing away to Porto is nothing to be ashamed of, playing that badly is. Didn't really deserve a draw but that penalty decision once again in Europe is f**king hard to accept.

Positives: Zouma, Azpi and Begovic. Negatives: Everything else!

I wouldn't care if we lost 2-1 away to Porto by playing well, but we lost by playing absolute sh*te. Again.

We are utterly toothless in attack.

Ivanovic is a liability and is utterly useless at this point, the only thing he contributes to any game is his throw in. That's LITERALLY IT.

 

If he insists on playing Zouma then drop Cahill. We need organisation at the back, its becoming embarrassing. We *need* JT. Ivanovic could not captain a f**king w**k right now.

Why arse about? Just get Azpi at RB, Baba at LB and stick Terry in with whoever in the middle.

You know, players who are actually played in their correct positions and aren't shifted around to compensate for a non-entity in Ivanovic.

Because Baba hasnt looked particularly great in his outings so far. I dont think brining him in would stabilise our defence at all

I honestly can't see us making even the Europa league spots at this rate. As it stands, FA Cup and League Cup offer our only realistic chances of success, and Jose's only hope if he is to last beyond this season (if he even makes it to November)

I can't understand how our defending has become so schoolboyish, Mourinho has always built from the back but it seems he can't instill basic defending into a group of players who had it pretty much sussed just four or five months ago.

 

I wouldn't blame Costa for anything tonight and thought he played well but with an iffy defense it sends nerves throughout the team and it's just never going to click.

 

Surely JT has to come back in and if Baba is not getting better in training maybe Zouma wil have to shift over and give Ivan some bench time.

 

I'd like to see Fabregas sit a couple out as well and Mikel Ramires or RLC given a go beside Matic to see if that brings him back to some form.

Outplayed by a better team yet again. Could have snatched it at the end, but symptomatic for the season we fluffed it.

Yet again I have to question the decision not to assign a man to each post on defensive corners. Thought we learned after Silva sank us last year, guess not
