Do Kiev play on Grass or artificial 4g as this might have a baring on team selection. Players with knee and back issues struggle on artificial surfaces. Cahill missed an England game for this reason.

I think this and the west ham game are massive games because i think we need to keep it tight and grind out some results like against villa. Try not to concede and hopefully a bit class from someone will bag us some goals.

 

We aren't going to be totally back to normal straight awayy it will take few solid performances and good results to get confidence in the team to start firing on all cylinders and show our class.

I think that jose's decisions on hazard have been good, hazard hasn't been playing well and as much as I don't want to lose him i think that as a professional it is better to be challenged and realise your not untouchable.

Since Pedro is out, it's only logical to play Hazard, reinforce the midfield with Ramires and we should be fine. I believe it will be safety first, a draw will be decent, although I'm not feeling all that confident beating them in the return leg (without seeing them in actions)

I don't think he's being made into a scapegoat. Jose knows this is how you get a good reaction from Hazard. He's done it before and it worked last season. Some players need an encouraging word, but some react best when they're being challenged.

Apparently some Chelsea fans were ambushed by Kiev thugs last night as they left a bar. I hope everyone out there is ok and gets home safe and sound!

That's just awful to hear. It's great that so many fans make the trip to support our boys over there and then they get attacked by some thugs. I really don't understand why you'd do something like that, it really disgusts me. Wouldn't mind throwing them in jail for a good 50 years.
