As much as Eden has been awesome the last few season, he looks pretty miserable out there when he's in our shirt these days. Also these funny little injuries he's getting seem to me like he can't be bothered with us anymore. Maybe I'm being too critical and he's genuinely been injured two times in quick succession, but he still looks like his heart isn't in it.

 

Bale would be a great swap, and I prefer the height and physical ability he has over Hazard in the same way I prefer Ronaldo to Messi. If there was no swap deal though and a lame money only bid, I would be less inclined to get rid unless Hazard publicly says he wants to leave us.

Agree with the sentiment Bale would be a great swap, given his hat trick last night can't see it happening now though. I think a more realistic option would be James Rodriguez, Isco or Gotze with Pedro/Willian perhaps taking Hazard's place on the left.

Tough one. Hazard when he turns it on has more ability than Bale, but Bale has the drive to become one of the best in the world, to keep pushing, which Hazard doesn't seem to have.

We both know why they wanted to leave. But they ASKED to leave, which is the point Im making about Hazard. The why is irrelevant. New place to live, doesnt like the manager or fans, cant get a decent meal, doesnt matter.

Hazard is not fit to turn out for our club. I'm so disappointed by his attitude. At this moment in time, I'd take Bale in a swap deal in a heart beat.

Oh? How many players can play in a pivot or as a number ten at the level Kroos does? Kroos fits into our current group better IMO. We've been doing just fine offensively so far without Hazard and replacing him with someone more direct like Kenedy wouldnt be a bad idea.

Kroos really isn't that good in the pivot unless you set up your entire team around him, which isn't worth it when others can play that role just as well and I wouldn't want him behind the striker ahead of Hazard either.

I didnt mean him ALONE in the pivot. Id rather have him next to whoever our holding player is than anyone currently in the team. I would also rather have Hazard there but this is a thread about selling him

I think (looking at it overly-positive) anyone that joins us now or prior to next season is someone who really wants to play for us, as we literally have nothing to offer them by way of form or European football, although I'm sure others would just label them money grabbing.

Bale carried a mediocre spurs team to within inches of Champions league football, and also popped in 20 goals that season, I'd say he could have done the same job for us that Hazard did last season if their places had been exchanged. But coulda woulda shoulda is all ireelevant at the moment. I'd only take Bale if we had to let Hazard go, if there was a choice i'd rather keep Hazard. Or just have both to be honest, that'd be the dream. 

Well it could all be immaterial if RM's transfer ban is upheld...maybe PSG will ask a few questions about Hazard but that's all...

I don't we will have any buy out clause in hazards contract. It's a requirement in spain, but it's not common practice over here. So we could be as extortionate as we want!
