Just to freshen up the thread list.

My mate was talking about buying a Quresma shirt today which got me thinking.

Who's time at the club was better, or worse in this case, Quaresma or Cuadrado?

I honestly cant remember Quaresma touching the ball. Id have to go with him.

I think Quaresma put in a cross once

I bet it was with the outside of his foot....

I think Quaresma put in a cross once

From the left with the outside of his right boot

Anyone remember Miniero?

Think he was  a big Phil signing and played a half in the  COC or something.

But yeah, we didn't spend stupid money on him

I'll take Minero and raise you a Papi Dijidriepdpeiffooo.

At least the others tried to serve a purpose and had some thought rationale behind them.

Had a Luca Percassi shirt back in '99 thought he would be big, but sold it in 2000 after he went back to Italy. Sam Dalla Bona was better I guess.

Dalla Bona at least scored against Leeds and Liverpool

Here is the highlights form teh 4-0 over LIverpool where he scored.

Watching this shows just how sublime, at times, Guddy was

If it was a "who can fall over the most" competition then I'd have to go with Cuadrado.

Least value for money, Cuadrado gets my vote.

Worst haircut, again, Cuadrado gets the nod.

I was just looking at the squad for 2000/2001 season and I wouldn't have remembered that we had Pierre Issa on loan that season.

Yes, this Pierre Issa:

Quaresma - I vaguely remember that name but that's about it.

Did we really pay 27 milliong for Cuadrado? My brain must have pushed that fact from my memory. And to think of the much better players we let go.

Cuadrado got me pretty hyped, the big fee, the scouting report that shows he had a background in defending, he was supposed to be better than Willian in defending and end product.

In the end we managed to get someone much worse than who he replaced; Schurrle/Salah and if I'm not mistaken the only thing he contributed was winning a penalty on the final day, which was more from the defender giving it away needlessly.

I have to say I did like his general attitude, seems like a nice guy but what a disaster and kick in my expectations nuts, hopefully Juventus buy him and we recoup most of the fee.

I don't remember Pierre Issa ever playing or signing for us.

nope, nor do i.  Man, we must've been scraping the barrel trying to find anything back then

I remember I was pretty excited when we signed queresma... Looked lively in his debut and never did much else. Who the hell is Pierre Issa? Don't recall that one.
