Tbh this is a good point. Chelsea have kept Chalaboah and really Ake would of been better at Chelsea than not playing at Bournemouth. Moved out the old like Mikel and Ivan and give these players a chance.

Also, if we had played Aina towards the end of last season instead of Ivanovic, we wouldnt be having this problem now.

It seems that someone at the club wants to hold on to the past and not move forward.

Thanks for being so condescending. It's people like you that put people off forums so I appreciate that. If I wanted a lecture I would back in with my parents.

My bad. Didn't intend to be disdainful.

How is calling one of your posts delusional a personal dig? Its merely related to your post.

I am sure youre a nice upstanding man/woman, just with a poor understanding off how football works.

What a tool.

If you look at the way Chelsea have played in the last 2 fixtures against fierce rivals then maybe that's why people are being negative.

Cant rely on easy fixtures all year round.

but take a look at the other favourites for top four and only one or two of them have played "tougher" fixtures. i mean we go beat watford, and then they go beat one of favourites for the title in utd 3-1. city are playing really well admittedly, but de bruyne is pulling a lot of strings for them right now and without him we'll see how they get on. i think if we take a step back and look at the full picture, people will see that we aren't doing bad. against swansea we were unfortunate to not come away with the 3 points, but admittedly the last two games were poor. conte needs time to figure out how to change the situation, but it's not going to help the cause people having meltdowns every time a game doesn't go our way. ok fair dos arsenal and liverpool beat us, but we have the chance to get our own back on them, and hopefully with time this team will recover and put together impressive results, but january will maybe give us the opportunity to strengthen also.

After the past 2 league games, I don't think Conte need to worry about being loyal to the under performing players. Whether is 352 or 12421, I reckon he should just go ahead and implement it. I don't think he's comfortable with the 433, and I don't see the team progress unless the manager is implementing his own methods. It's difficult to judge the 352 cameo, but at least we could some decent cross in, that didn't happen in the last 2 games.  We need to get the most out of Hazard/Costa, I think teams are doing a good job containing him when he's operating only from the left without a supporting fullback. Bellerni is one of the fastest fullback in the game, I felt Hazard would have a difficult game, and he did. Costa, much better when there's someone near him. He played well on the weekend, just couldn't do everything by his own against 2 central defenders.

Or others could just look at it and think if it wasn't for the late goals then how much different Chelsea's start to the season could look. I don't even think it's the losing but the manner of the performances and the same rubbish as last season like watching Ivan being s***.

In between all the doom and gloom. One good thing is that we dont have many difficult games till early dec when we play city away.
Hopefully we can go on a bit of a run over the next 6-7 games.

Surely you jest. We have United, Leicester, Spurs before we meet City. We also have tricky fixtures in Southampton and Everton.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing! Apart from Hull next weekend, we have a rough run of fixtures coming up

Start the clock, I have him being sacked Monday December 5th.

2nd biggest mistake we will make. First was firing jose in the first place. Cut out league 2 level players from our squad, let Conte play with his own players and then fire him if results hold.

For now, let's just fire Emenalo.

Trouble is that if we were ever going to back the manager over the players, surely it would have been last season with a proven world class manager and off the back of our league title. If we didn't back Mourinho then, what chance does Conte have? He has won us nothing so has no credit in the bank. I think it'll be the same old ending as it always is for managers at Chelsea

wow, didn't know that

it's very premature to predict conte's sacking, but with this mediocre team and the upcoming fixtures, it's not looking good

Rumours today that Conte will be making changes with Cahill and Ivanovic left out. Hopefully this will be the start of Conte benching under performing players.

That said, until we freshen the squad up I don't see us pulling up any trees. The squad is stale.

I'm guessing Cahill would be getting dropped anyway with JT fit again. Be good to see Ivanovic get dropped though. Hopefully it's a long term thing though and he doesn't just come straight back in if we concede in the next game

Any person suggesting that Conte should be sacked is absolutely crazy and fair to say has absolutely no idea about football. I think Conte is intelligent enough to realise the flaws of the squad, but none of his ideal transfer targets were delivered to him especially in regards to addressing the defence and now his hands are tied.

He's inherited a playing squad that is scarred by last season and are a bunch of spineless cowards with the mentality of peas. I had us finishing anywhere between 3-6 this season and I'm sticking by that, but I never thought he would work miracles instantaneously.

The club has been exposed by backing the wrong horse (the players). If the board hasn't woken up to the fact that the playing squad is stale and needs a major rebuild as the last 12 months have demonstrated, then we're in big trouble.

Firstly Mourinho and now Conte who have massive problems with the playing staff.

Yet there are deluded idiots who still insist the squad is up to scratch by pointing to the title win two seasons ago.  Very Pool like by living off past glories and refusing to continuous  improvement.

A major rebuild would require another 200 million pounds NET next summer - there is no way the Board will sanction that.  They will be looking for last minute panic buys of mediocre players after fruitless chases of top class players by refusing to pay the market price.  Bonucci for 60 million pounds by Juventus?  Pay it or get the f*ck away!

I feel sorry for the bloke, obviously knows what he is doing but hasn't been given the support he needs to do what he wants.

We need an urgent upgrade on our defence and a bit more bite put in the midfield.

to be fair we've dominated almost every game we've played this season barring liverpool and arsenal, but just needed to kill games off. i am sure this will come, but maybe a two striker system is needed.

thought i coverd this , question 4 Have you a list of young hungry players to recruit who will need recruited  or are you wanting chelsea to purchus over priced  over played haS Beens

Yeah I just don't think every new manager should be entitled to that question.  Obviously we are always looking for additional recruits and we have a great history of signing quality players, so to give a new manager who has never been involved with the club the right to shoot down all the previous work by the administration would be ridiculous.  These players are good enough.  Coach them.

Totally agree........The board of Chelsea need to wake up and realise that ..........but unfortunately they think they can flash their cheque book around and solve the problem ........but the quality of player they keep buying is certainly no better than the youth players we already own.

Come the end of this season......If we don't qualify for European football ( hopefully we will finish top 4 in the premier, or either we win a domestic cup and qualify for the Europa cup, which I would take now .......as sadly I can't see us anywhere near to the top 4).

If we don't, then the Board of Chelsea will hopefully wake up and Completely re-think and give our best quality Youth players a go in the 1st team instead of shipping em off on loan.

During all of this turmoil ......I will continue buying tickets and supporting as I've done since 1962 ( when I first attended Stamford bridge as a nipper).

Come on Conte .....Sort it out !!!!!!    Keep the Blue Flag flying HIGH !

Leicester are sh*t this season. United and Spurs are at the Bridge so we should be looking to get atleast a draw from both games. Southampton have been poor.

Everton away is surely a difficult game but I dont expect their current form to last till then.

I can't see the board sacking Conte. They were reluctant to sack Jose but only had to because things went completely out of control.

One thing that slightly concerns me though is when Jose was sacked, the statement from Eleamano was that the squad is good enough for a top 4 finish. I personally don't mind Eleamano but if he is still pushing that view to the board then we are in trouble as it's clear for everyone to see that the squad has become stale and 3 managers have all failed to get a tune out of any of them.
