No, not at all. More than well compensated. Just thinking how physically and mentally fresh can you be after all of that travel? Those are some long haul trips.

I'm sure they get used to it from a young age. Also remember it'll be a first class private charter, with recliner seats, extra leg room, a whole different experience to what most of us get.

Oh, you mean you don't fly first class when traveling to US or Asia?

I have at least three trips to Europe from the US in 2018, after 4 the past 4 years, and have never been able to afford those super nice first class recliners/sleepers. Only time I have flown first class to Europe was back in the '90s when first class just meant a bigger cushy seat.

A half bottle of Hennessy is good for losing 8 hours or so in the sky.

Man alive, Morata has racked up the frequent flyer mileage. Let' see, Wednesday in Los Angeles with Real Madrid for their summer tour. Flies 5,400 miles overnight to London on Thursday for medical. Then Friday flies 6,700 miles to Singapore. That is 12,100 miles in a 48-72 hour period. That is ONLY about 15 time zones. Could we not just fly him LA to Singapore for only 8,700 miles?

Consider the original 5,800 miles from Madrid to LA 10 days ago and then in 7 days he flies 6,700 miles back to London with the Club and a grand total of 24,600 flown miles in a 17 day span!

It is amazing how much traveling all of these players do, especially during international breaks, like ours guys Willian , Luiz, etc that fly back to Brazil.

yep this guy is a true Globe Trotter - then add the fact he practised today - I guess he saw Michy's performance yesterday & felt he better get w/ Don Antonio's program

Did you know pilots and air hostesses are classified as radiation workers because being that high for so long exposes them to cosmic rays  But yea I doubt morata will mind, business class, chaperones at the airports, executive car waiting for them, 5 star hotel, all on the clubs tab, the only issue they have is the body clock, it's hard for a football player because they are so used to routine, their whole life is routine.

Even if it is first class or a private plane it is probably not easy
Especially if you step into completely different timezone. Helps to be a fit athlete but you need your sleep.

One of the best ways to avoid desynchronosis is to spend time outdoors as soon as you arrive to allow the carcadian rhythm to re-establish itself through sunlight and exercise...so in the case of Morata it's a given...no doubt he'll also be wearing fetching flight socks on the aeroplane too...

Cesc on Alvaro and Michy. I think these are smart words from an experienced player. From chelseafc.com

‘I’ve played with Alvaro and I’ve always had a good understanding with him,’ said Fabregas. ‘He is a striker who has a lot of potential, the same as Michy Batshuayi, to improve. It’s up to them how far they want to go.

‘They are two young strikers who will have to improve as quickly as possible because they are our main strikers and if you are the main strikers for Chelsea, who want to fight for all of the competitions, you need to score a lot of goals.

‘They will be under pressure. If you are a striker of a big team that’s what you live with and they will have to cope with it.’

Walking in the footsteps of Franco Di Santo and Steve Sidwell: a heavy burden.

Ahhhh Di Santo! I forgot he even existed.
