I thought he was brilliant when he came on. He must definitely be the first choice striker, as much as I like Bats, I wouldn't be confident about him leading the line for the rest of the season

Top top top drawer player. If the team can stop getting themselves sent off and we can get the other four back into the first eleven we'll be fine.

His performances has actually filled me with optimism despite what was an abysmal result. He will be fantastic, especially with hazard back. He will get plenty of goals, and he showed fight, without the 'dark arts' some would have believe is needes to be a top striker. 

Can't wait to see bakayoko and kante in midfield aswell. 

 

I great debut from him. It's just a shame that it was in a game we all want to forget.

Hopefully conte will get all these fancy ideas about wingers and not concentrating on heading and back to goal and just let him be what he is. 

Morata, Pedro and Hazard will do some damage this season.

He hasn't played in a Chelsea shirt image competitive match with 11 team mates yet he's look miles better than anyone expect give him Hazard Pedro boga and boko behind him and he is going to get loads of gold

Play him as striker and he will score goals. Just wish we had Hazard back to link up with him 

He has great movement, and the nous all top Strikers possess, Contes excellent man management will only improve him..

Absolute class performance. Difference between him and Batshuayi was night and day. I'm actually really excited to see him play more.

Honestly don't want to see Bats anywhere near that starting lineup unless it's a cup game or Morata is injured. His hold up play is still beyond piss poor, surprisingly. I think pretty much 80% of passes made to him were lost to Burnley. Rather play Boga/Musonda beside Morata if Pedro's still out injured.

Certainly a big positive from the game.

He looked bad in pre-season, but as soon as the seasons starts, we are in trouble, he comes on and turns the game on its head.

I think during preseason he was just behind in fitness (still is compared to most of the squad) and getting used to our system. He pointed out recently that Conte asks of him the opposite of what every other coach he has played for has asked. That's going to take a while to get used to I think. Luckily, his scoring hasn't taken a while to come around.

Alvaro Morata has played 8,171 minutes for Real Madrid, Juventus and Chelsea the equivalent of just under 91 games and has 91 Goals/Assists for them.

Glad he's proven a few of the people who were doubting his ability when we were originally linked with him wrong so far, long may it continue.

 

He was always my first choice for replacing Diego, he's built for the Prem, as someone above said, he's like Costa without the childish antics and better technical ability. He'll be an absolute monster if we get Hazard back up and running. 

 

I still think we should target a world class right winger. I think an attacking trio of Hazard-Morata-Sanchez(someone like that) would put us on a bar with Madrid & Barca for attacking threat.

 

No offence to Pedro or Willian, I'm a huge fan of the former, but I wouldn't say he was the absolute elite, although I still feel that's a hell of a forward line.

 

If he starts most weeks for us, he will score 20+ goals a season.

Feel a bit sorry for him to be honest, until Hazard comes back, he's going to have a lot of weight on his shoulders, trying to drag us in to, or drag us back in to games.
