July 22, 20169 yr Mourinho is very happy when he has a blank cheque to throw at players every year.... as soon as that's not available and he wears the squad into the ground he becomes grumpy and blames everyone else but himself.
July 22, 20169 yr I prefer the class we show to past players and managers to the gooners pathetic booing. One acknowledgement then its on we go. Don't mind an acknowledgment - a bit of applause but I just hope that we don't get the chorus of "Jose Mourinho............". But if things go on to get heated during the match, I expect him to get some stick.
July 22, 20169 yr I'll always respect and think fondly of Jose despite how it ended. He is the most successful ever manager in our entire history and changed the whole ethos of the club after all. Nothing wrong with the fans showing that appreciation after endless trophies and good times IMO. Edited July 22, 20169 yr by Chelsbear
July 22, 20169 yr God if we do the Jose Mourinho chant that will be so cringey. Has to stop, especially now he's at the scum.

If there is any chanting I can't see it lasting past the first game we meet.Folk still chanted Lampards name when he played against us with City those games. Edited July 22, 20169 yr by Chelsbear

Folk still chanted Lampards name when he played against us with City those games. True, but I think there is a difference. Players names will always get sung, especially when they are a legend like Lamps. But there is only ONE manager so to chant Mourinho's name when Conte is now our manager would IMO be wrong. I'm all for our supporters showing a bit of class but you have to draw the line and not end up being crass.
July 22, 20169 yr The only thing Jose Mourinho deserves is to have flecks of human excrement flung in his face. The man is a dirty, filthy c*nt who acted on self interest alone and completely screwed our club over. One day people will wake up and realise this. He's a feral animal who sh*ts absolutely anywhere and on anything. Over time, you start to recognise the smell. You would think that it would be insufferable and intolerable to all. But some mistake the stench for his charm. And because so much sh*t comes out the man, they spend so much time breathing it in that they become heady and intoxicated by it. And they want more and more. For others though, it just smells like sh*t. And it stinks to high heaven. He's one of those nasty, repugnant people who don't wash their hands after using the toilet. And then he comes back and touches your possessions, with his skanky, piss-stained hands. If Manchester United had any sense, they'd chop off his penis at base before his urine seeps into their club. However, I do think he was put in a difficult position regarding the shirt signing and given this 'reactive' social media age we live in, I think he did the right thing by his current club.

I love the fact he's our most successful manager in history and will be remembered long after you are for the off. Angry wee man.
July 22, 20169 yr Im disappointed but not suprised mourinho wouldnt sign a chelsea shirt, im sure guardiola would sign a barca shirt, or conte would sign a juve shirt, but i have a feeling the fans relationship will turn a little sour with jose. He clearly doesnt want to be associated with chelsea now he is at united, so i hope we dont sing his name when he comes back. Im expecting to hear some negative comments from him about our fans and club, closer to when we play them, especially if conte has us looking like serious title contenders. We know how jose works, while he is at united we are now the enemy, its nothing personnel, its just the way he operates, hopefully in the long run his reputation with us wont be tarnished, as he is still our greatest ever manager. If he has major success at united, dont be suprised to see him kissing the badge, and talking about the best supporters and club in the world.
July 22, 20169 yr I don't think it really matters that he never signed the shirt, he did it behind a a cheeky grin but at the end of the day a bigger man would of signed it. Its us fans that suffer really because we were always good to him. We sung his name when he came to the bridge with inter milan and we sung his name when his job was was on the line. We where good to you jose
July 22, 20169 yr Calling someone a "dirty, filthy c*nt " because you dont like what he did in football says more about you than him.

But if things go on to get heated during the match, I expect him to get some stick. He is and will always be a massive figure in the history of the club , but if the first split was a trial separation this one was truly a divorce and both parties need to move on. Jose has a responsibility to do the best job he can for United and he can't have one foot in the past if he's going to do that so I don't hold anything against him for it. But we need to move on as well, like stim, a moments acknolagement between us and the him and then 110 support for our new wife, mr conte , let it be known that we have fallen in love again

I can't believe i just read all of this. One of the worst posts i have ever seen on here.
July 22, 20169 yr I dunno, this is possibly one of the most fantastic things I've ever heard (read) someone say about a person in football when in the midst of a torrent of rage: He's one of those nasty, repugnant people who don't wash their hands after using the toilet. And then he comes back and touches your possessions, with his skanky, piss-stained hands. If he can hold that much hatred for our most successful manager ever, then God knows how he feels about Tottenham!

I agree Ploks. Surely a post as venomous as that has to be intended as a joke, especially with the slight twist at the end. Thought it was hilarious!!
July 22, 20169 yr Time for us to move on from Jose, loved him in his 1st spell at Chelsea, had a lot of passion. His second spell seemed like a chore for him and he didn't look happy here. To me he wanted that united job at the time moyes was appointed. He did mention a while back before joining Chelsea that he would like to coach United. Good luck to him at United. Would be unfair to put all the blame on him for the terrible performance last season as the players where equally involved, but getting involved with the Doctor and making silly media comments about other coaches and teams did not help his cause. I am thankful for what he has brought to this club, but the man just seemed unhappy here. Anyways Conte looks promising, he was quite a player and manager at juve. He interacts well with the players. Very excited for this season Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Rafa confirmed he knew Jose was returning when he had that meltdown after Boro. He was attracted to the United job but as far as 2013 was concerned he was always coming back here.

Bit different for a brand new MUFC manager to sign a CFC shirt than a MCFC manager signing a Barca shirt or a CFC manager signing a Juv shirt, no? Never mind neither of the latter were managing the former club less than a season back.

He even commented on it. I can understand Jose's animosity towards the club but the fans sang his name throughout. And United would had no problems with him signing T shirts. The fans will start turning on him (myself included) if he continues. My 2 cents anyways. Edited July 22, 20169 yr by JoseBlues

I think the vast majority of club legends whether it be a player or a manager, would do something so trivial as to sign a shirt for a fan at the club he is still idolised at. If that was me and it was a once in a lifetime chance to meet a hero, id be gutted. What harm would it have actually to sign a chelsea shirt? Either he is taking out his bitterness over his dismissal on a fan who in all likelihood stood by him, or he is trying to point score with united fans by snubbing chelsea fans. Either way i think it is a very unclasssy move, hopefully it was just a one off, but i guess time will tell.
July 22, 20169 yr Mourinho knows that anything he does is used as ammo, if he signed the shirt it would have been blown massively out of proportion by a load of f**kwits so he did the right thing
