If he goes to Bayern, fair enough. But if we let City get him without a fight, that'll be disappointing. City are going to outspend everyone this summer as it is.

If he leaves Arsenal for an English club and it's not Chelsea then we aren't really serious about retaining the title or winning the CL.

Yeah I don't think so. It changes nothing imo. I think depending on how the summer goes, we can still entice him. This match didn't change the fact that they'll be playing in the Europa League next year while we try to challenge for the CL and retain the league title. In fact, winning the FA Cup doubled their Europa League qualification, if you will. He's turning 29 next year. He'll waste all his prime years for a joke club with no real ambition if he stays at Arsenal.

He's too good for Arsenal and not sure Cup win will be enough to make him want to stay...papers over the cracks after all and they will be way off the pace again next year as well...question is whether Arsenal will sell him at all...you'd think they can't afford to let him go but they stand to lose £50m if they let him run last year if his contract down

All Sanchez needs to do is tell that joke of a club he wants to join Chelsea and they have no choice or they will lose a lot of money.

I think hes the perfect Conte player and has everything to work in this 3-4-3 but I dont know can he be as effective from the RW, he plays LW for Arsenal to allow him to cut in and shoot, hes a much better finisher than Hazard but I wouldnt want to push Hazard wide right either so there could be a problem there too.

However, that being said, I'd love to have the problem of trying to work out which of the two to play on which wing on a matchday. If we want to compete next year for the title and push on in Europe we have to be in for Sanchez and at the very least, make sure City dont get him.

Well to be fair he started out as a RW in his first clubs, even in Barcelona. So I wouldn't be worried about that: I can see a Hazard - Costa/Lukaku - Alexis flowing easily. Man, he could even play as CF, as he's done with Arsenal and the national team.

I'd love Sanchez but I'd be shocked if hes sold to a PL side. If theres even a slight chance of it though we should be kicking the door down to sign him, theres not many players in the league that can score 20 goals a season, if we had him, Hazard and Costa or Lukaku we'd have potentially 60 goals alone between 3 players, not that theyed all get 20 goals each but it would give us an insane attacking line up, the best in England by far and one of the top 5 in world football.
