Yep a win will be pretty amazing given out team.

its the boards fault for this you don't sell and loan players out without making sure you have replacements on hand.

crazy start to the season

Even if we still had Baker, Chala, Matic it would still have required a miracle. The spirit shown yesterday plus Morata's performance in adversity gives me some hope but we will require Munich esque rub of the green to get a result i fear.

Best bet is to sit back and hope for a draw.

We don't have the balance in the middle of the park to dictate the game to them and they will simply swarm us with Dembelle and Wanyama.

We don't even have the magic of Hazard to call upon or the creativity of Cesc. I'm really not looking forward to it tbh

We can't afford to move SSB from the centre of our defence...he's needed there to stabilise the whole back line...you're better bringing in Tomori alongside Kante and Boga in the front line if Pedro ain't fit...

Tibo

Dave SSB Rudiger

Moses Kante Tomori Alonso

Willian Morata Pedro/Boga

Personally, I would prefer Luiz in midfield and Christensen at CB.

Surely Chalobah must be kicking himself?! And Ake as well??! I mean, Conte spoke during the summer about younger players needing to have patience and this is clearly a great example of that. This could have been the chance these guys waited their entire careers for and they chose to jump ship.

But they must have been under the impression from the board or someone that we would be signing more players or you'd have to think they'd stay. RLC going on loan, for example, says either that we just don't think he's good enough to even be back up or that we're going to be well covered in CM with loads of signings imminent.

I cannot wrap my head around this summer at all. We've signed 3 good players and yet somehow managed to frustrate everyone and f**k up our squad. United's inevitable romp to victory today is the icing on the crap cake.

Nope, he won't be kicking himself because he's seen this sh*t happen for donkey years. How many times have we had the opportunity to give youngsters a chance but we didn't. We only conjecture and say stuff like "if he had stayed maybe he would have got his chance now" but no need for that. I'm now in full support of ALL of our youth players following their dreams for first team week in week out football elsewhere. We are a joke of a club that won't give them a chance. The club, the managers and the fans. We won't give them a chance.

Can't see us getting anything from this match with such a depleted squad.  Maybe we need to just park the bus on this occasion and hope to take a point?

People speak of spurs like they're real Madrid. Today they did nothing much until Newcastle had a man sent off. If we go out thwee with the same intensity we showed 2nd half yesterday then we give them a trouble.

I trust azpi, christensen and rudiger in defence if luiz moves to midfield. Otherwise maybe we can try something different. Maybe a young player can come in and really make a mark for himself in this game.

Spuds are a very decent outfit - can't think of any of our youngsters who are going to be capable of worrying this outfit much.

We're really treading on eggshells if the board doesn't sign anyone of a good talent level by the end of this week. Anymore suspensions or red cards or injuries and our squad is decimated on the 2nd week of the new season lol

dont panic the board will rescue the day with 5 signings this week ,sandro , the ox vvd, barkley and cancelo plus all five will be up to speed and ready to play .lol

If Matic was here we would not be in a panic mode.

If there is one, just one, circumstance were i would still take Jose over Antonio it's for moment's like this. Jose would have got a 0-0 here come hell or high water. He's in his element when he can play the underdog.

What im hopelessly clinging onto atm is surely even the team we are sending out Sunday are better than the Levekusen side who did them at Wembley?

First home game for them in Wembley. They will want to show they can win there. And they want to show how to win the champions.

Probably the worst moment to go there. Our squad is the worst in a long time for this one. Injuries and suspensions.

Not very optimistic. Two ways Conte can face this game: sit back and wish for the best or try to play our football. I think he goes for the latter (as he is no Jose) and we will get punished. Pedro-Morata is my only hope for some attacking prowess.

The team I would go with is

Teboo

Azbi Luiz Rudiger

Moses Kante Christensen Alonso

Willian Morata Pedro

Keep it tight at the back and in midfield, Christensen has played before in Midfield and so has Luiz, but I would keep Luiz at the back just for experience.

there is talk Bakayoko might make the bench
