I think he would have been excellent for us. We have missed out on so many great attackers. Or had them and thrown them away. 

 

Mahrez would be be the best value attacker on the market and would have been in July saw well 

I would love him here.  Hopefully Kante and Drinkwater can get into his ear and persuade him to join!

I think he'll end up at Arsenal, Man City or maybe even PSG. Less likely but even Tottenham would probably bid for him before Chelsea and Conte.

Don't think it bothered Munich when they signed had the Dortmund team, not their first time either 

Id take those two signings in a heartbeat.

Nice to see that two huge teams who are also bitter rivals dealing with each other though.

Couldn't imagine Spurs dealing with us in regards to say Harry and Dele for instance.

This is so true. It's the biggest reason why he has such a good record against the top 6, because he is very good on the counter. He's not getting any younger and he would have to change his game a lot to fit in here. He would cost a lot, and I don't think he would be interested in playing second fiddle to morata. It's a none starter for me. 

I'm not really sure whether we can improve on Batshuayi, the only teams that have better back ups, are ones that have either an exciting youngster that has stepped up, or a former 1st choice striker that has been replaced. 

All we can do is take a punt on a young striker, in the hope he offers more than Batshuayi while playing limited minutes.

If anything, you should be wondering if Zaha would be an improvement over Pedro and Willian, and i don't think he would be overall. Zaha is as frustrating a player as Willian. One day he can look like a top player, then in the next few games he is miss placing passes, doesn't try to beat his man, has a bad touch, balloon's shots over the bar.
Mahrez is the better player by far.

If he was in our team tonight, he would have destroyed Arsenal. He loves counter attacking and he would have got loads of chances to do it too. He could have taken a defender away from Hazard which would have made Hazard even more dangerous.

If he signs for anybody but us in this window or the summer then i'm going to be really annoyed. He should be one of our main priorities.

Doubt we will sign any one. We rarely use the January window.

I disagree i think we will be adding players, just depends on who we buy. The problem seems to be Conte doesn't rate the signings very much, i dont even think he rates Rudiger that much.

Have not seen a single link to us to any players this window. Bar pie in the sky  deals for a 60mill 31 year old and the sandro stuff .

The worse thing Conte can do is over pay for players. Mahrez would be delicious. I wonder what Conte's blood pressure is. Bet his doctor would tell him to slow down and take a few weeks off work.

True. Yet he has a lot of faith in Bakayoko. I think the Bakayoko signing was one of 'his ones'. He obviously sees something in him right now or down the line that most of us just aren't seeing.

Not sure what will happen to Barkley then, early signs i am reading looks like it was a board signing which doesnt surprise me.

Honest question, were we ever linked with Mahrez, like at all? I hear nothing.

I have this worrying feeling that he will go to Liverpool now that they have received that money for Coutinho. I also rate Mahrez higher than Coutinho so that will only make them stronger from my point of view. I don't think we can get Sanchez, so if we are looking for another attacker, then i'm worried we will be left with either Draxler, Lemar or Carrasco, and i don't want us going anywhere near any of them.
